Very tempted to pop over for it.

Fri 10 Apr 2009 - PETERBOROUGH UTD

London Road - 3pm

Coca-Cola League One

Advance match ticket info for Cheltenham supporters - tickets will only be available on the day of the game. Please note that due to the demand for tickets from home fans, Peterborough have decided that Cheltenham supporters will only be allocated the away seated area of their London Road stadium. However, visiting fans will only pay the standing area prices for their seats. Matchday prices for CTFC fans will therefore be, £15 for adults, £12 for OAP's and full time students, £9 for U16's.

I was thinking about it, but can't now as I'm working.

I'm really starting to think this could be the year of the mighty Posh. We seem to have so much resolve even when not at our best, grinding out results. There's a few twists and turns yet but we can do it.

We are the only team who is going to win League One - so less of all this negativity!

Didn't know Liverpool were in our division... :o

The Ferguson family will be celebrating two title wins this year.

City have won THREE of the last twelve games. We're choking big-time.

The side may still make it to automatic promotion but if it does, it will be as runners-up.

I am surprised by the over-confidence being shown in this thread by many supporters of the club.

We will not win this league. We will be lucky to finish in second place.

As someone pointed out yesterday, and I second it, I'm more interested in the gap to third than the one to second.

Our run-in is fast becoming an act of desperation. Only the number of games left to play will now save us.

Just.

Still think we'll do it ....just!!! As long as we dont finish any lower than second thats the most important thing

Yesterday was the worst i've felt after a city match since stoke last year. My heart says Us, but my head says P'boro.

Its still in our own hands but we'll need to win at least 4 out of our last 5 and i can't see us doing that.

For me this is what will make finishing anything lower than champions so hard to bare <_<

We've been top for so long now you would imagine us to be on impressive form ready to continue for next season, which will be tough, but instead we find ourselves in the form of a mid-table side. We have to start putting in the effort again, like we did at the beginning of this season. Every other team in the top 6 is winning and we should also be claiming 3points every week now. Anything less isn't good enough frankly. Otherwise when we watch P'boro and Millwall take 1st and 2nd then watch Leeds win the play-off final, we'll know that we only have ourselves to blame for not trying hard enough.

I'm starting to feel sick thinking about how our season has changed. The nerves are out in full force now. As many have said, I would of happily settled for 2nd at start of season but now it would hurt. Worse than that, it is looking a possibility we could even get done for 2nd place by Millwall.

I've still got a little hope of us being champions but it is fading fast. I don't know what I'm gonna do if Leeds beat us

Still think it's City's year.

Back to winning ways next saturday with any luck, and i think we will be ok

Hopefully Peterborough slip up, but that doesn't look likely at this moment in time. :(

Next time we win and Peterborough lose. Will reopen the gap to a comfortable 5 points and with games running out hopefully we'll be far enough ahead.

Although I hope they do so soon, it doesn't really look that likely.

Possibly against Millwall

Peterboro' now I feel. Gutting 'cos of how long we've been top but we've been crap for a while now so just to get up automatically will be a sigh of relief. Next season becomes a different kettle of fish altogether now though.

Anyone doubting Peterboro need only look at their run-in in comparison to ours -

LCFC:

Hereford (A) - scrapping for survival although likely to go down

Leeds (H) - in form

Southend (A) - in form and going for playoffs

S****horpe (H) - going for playoffs

Crewe (A) - scrapping for survival - could be difficult if they need something against us

Peterborough:

Cheltenham (H) - worst team ever

Millwall (A) - trickiest remaining game

Stockport (H) - nothing to play for

Colchester (A) - as above

Swindon (H) - may need something out of this game, which makes last-day a potential nail biter!

Of that I can see about 6 more points for us and at least 9 for Peterborough.
