maddog Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Hereford are going down, and haven't scored in their previous 3 home games, losing all of them. But rather worryingly, they beat Leeds 2-0 at home in February, so must be able to perform and raise their games on very rare days, lets fooking hope Saturday isn't one of them. Other home highlights for them this season include a 1-0 win against Carlisle (we couldn't manage that ) and an unbelieveable 5-0 win against Oldham where they were 4-0 up at half time!!! And a 3-0 win at home to Cheltenham. But they also went 6-0 down at Bristol Rovers, and lost at Oldham 4-0 (so winning it 5-4 on aggregate ) fook me this game could go either way, a 6-0 win for us, or a 5-0 defeat Win 3-1 maybe Lets fooking hope so COME ON
Guest Bilo Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 My faith is beginning to wobble. The fact that we needed a win today didn't help but I can see us getting a result at a team second from bottom in shocking form. I'm going to go for a a 2-0 win, a desperately needed and timely 2-0 win.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 IF WE DON'T WIN THIS WE CAN ALL LOOK FORWARD TO MK IN THE PLAY-OFFS
dandannieldanok Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Loss, in a similar vein as to when Leeds lost there about a month ago.
Salieri Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Hopefully Brighton will beat them on Tuesday then they'll look even more doomed thatn they already do. Back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory, Dyer and Fryatt.
Number 6 Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Wouldn't back us to pick up 3 points against anyone in this league at the moment.
Brainy Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Can we stop the opometer now? Ever since we began to rotate thread starters we've hit rocky form.
Guest Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Can we stop the opometer now? Ever since we began to rotate thread starters we've hit rocky form. Or just stop them cos they're shit
Corky Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Or just stop them cos they're shit Ah, poor maddog It's his main passion you're talking about here
Thracian Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 IF WE DON'T WIN THIS WE CAN ALL LOOK FORWARD TO MK IN THE PLAY-OFFS Not a pleasant thought because I very much doubt we'd win any play-off the way things are. I've gone for a draw at Hereford. On paper we should win and I wish we could have played the last and the next five games on paper cos that would be the only safe way of succeeding. But seeing as paper won't come into it I feel that if we lacked sufficient concentrated momentum and the necessary belief in our passing game against a supposedly much-weakened Carlisle, then I'm quite sure we'll make it hard for ourselves at Hereford.
Dan Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Or just stop them cos they're shit I like them really, dunno if i'm missing something cos i'm relatively new to the forum but have people got something against Maddog?

Guest Bilo Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 We are almost certainly going to be going into this game in second place with Peterborough playing Cheltenham the day before, and are fairly likely to have Millwall breathing down our necks after their game at Yeovil. Whether that will spur the team on or freak them out is unknown. Based on quality of the squads though, and the fact that Hereford are surely all but down, I'm going for a 2-0 win.

Prediction...we will win this..Milwall will lose to Posh and we will then get turned over by Leeds..giving us another few days to sweat on auto promotion...forget being champions...that's gone!
Ultra Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Remember the last time we went there? Rob Kelly was manager. Elvis Hammond, Josh Low AND Momo Sylla were all in the side, Kisnorbo was sent off... ..and we still won 3-1. Pearson should be able to match that result.

Remember the last time a mighty Singh, made you look like a fool and a chump, and the Singh WON 1 - 0!!!
The Doctor Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I'm in quite a negative mood at the moment following manyoos last minute winner against villa but i think that if stockdale or pentney plays in goal instead of warner then we should win. If we can play like we did against carlisle then unless herefords keeper has a blinder then we should win comfortably. 5-0 city
Fox92 Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I have voted for loss and really fear the worse. Hereford are no push overs, they beat Oldham and Leeds down at Egdar Street.
