Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Peterborough 42 84 25 74Leicester 41 83 37 73 But tomorrow..... Leicester 42 86 39 75 Peterborough 42 84 25 73
Matt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 It is all over to us. Can we rise to it? Probably not. Sorry for being pessimistic but the amounts of chance we are given for one thing or another and do we make the most of it?!
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Probably not. Sorry for being pessimistic but the amounts of chance we are given for one thing or another and do we make the most of it?! fook No!
Matt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Abit of good news! Yeovil 1 - 0 Millwall...It no-where near 90 minutes yet though.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Yeovil 1-0 Millwall! Something to be happy about then. Come on Yeovil. I will just settle for 2nd now with the way Posh are playing.
Matt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Fooking hell, Not even half-time - Peterborough have had 10 corners.
martyn Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Millwall is the key result tbh....I couldn't understand it after the Carlisle game when the PA was announcing the scores, Millwall's victory was ignored whilst Peterboro's was met with a collective groan. Just get promoted.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Even a draw in the Millwall game will do us a favour. A win tomorrow would put us 9 points clear of third with four games to go, surely too big a gap for anybody to make up.

Well its not just a case of settling for 2nd place, It's still very much in our hands, however as me and you have just said do we ever make the most of our chances?!

I know games are significantly less games now, but a month of two ago when we were 18 ( I'm sure we were 18 points clear at one stage) points clear it was a case of 'surely too big a gap for anybody to make up' then...With the Leicester nothing is 'surely'.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Anything other than a defeat tomorrow will put us back on top. A win for us and a defeat for 'Wall would also put us 10 points clear of third with only 12 left to play for.

I'm going to steal a quote a Wolves fan I know made; If we were 6 points clear, with 1 game left, I'd still think we could fook it up somehow...

Good point but games are running out fast for the chasing pack. Even if we mess up, they have to win their games too. Every point we pick up and every point our promotion rivals drop, the less likely our implosion becomes.
martyn Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 You're forgetting that if MK Dons win their subsequent game in hand it will only be 8 points (assuming we win tomorrow).
The Doctor Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 You're forgetting that if MK Dons win their subsequent game in hand it will only be 8 points (assuming we win tomorrow). More bad news on that seeing as how they won 2-0 today v southend

A win for us and a defeat for 'Wall would also put us 10 points clear of third with only 12 left to play for. And one of Millwall's games is against Peterborough. I don't care about winning this division just auto promotion. As Ray Houghton said on Talksport this morning, it's the form teams that win play-off finals. We're not a form team at the moment so I wouldn't expect us to go up if we only made the play-offs. A win tomorrow is crucial.
Benji Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Massive result for MK Dons that, to go away to Southend who had won 6 of their last 8 home games and looking to push into the play-offs is some good going. Hopefully Southend play a load of youngsters against us

Hopefully Southend play a load of youngsters against us Dons still have to go to S****horpe!
Koke Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Even a draw would be a ****ing great result. Come on Yeovil, hang in there lads.
