Mikey Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Cheltenham absolutely love us.Sister club does the business I bet the fans were singing their Leicester songs in the game.
martyn Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Priotities change a bit now....was hoping for a Posh win v Millwall but sincerely hoping for a draw now...ideeally with red cards and injuries abundant.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 If we can't take advantage of this... we don't deserve to go up COME ON BOYS... LETS FKIN DO IT! What a perfect day
Des. Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 So if we win 2moro and 'Boro beat Millwall on Monday were promoted
Pegosteve Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Lets not overlook the Dons (their goal diff is not far off ours) so we do need to beat them by 1 point.
Bert Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 So if we win 2moro and 'Boro beat Millwall on Monday were promoted No.
davieG Posted 10 April 2009 Author Posted 10 April 2009 Priotities change a bit now....was hoping for a Posh win v Millwall but sincerely hoping for a draw now...ideeally with red cards and injuries abundant. I think Millwall will slump now and subconsciously settle for a playoff spot.
Craig Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 This does now mean that we could, in theory, win both promotion and the league at Southend
Pegosteve Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 So if we win 2moro and 'Boro beat Millwall on Monday were promoted No MK Dons can get 90 points. Just means Millwall could not catch us.
lou Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Yeah youre right - this is a big let off for us and we need to take advantage now. If we blow this now it'll be unforgivable!
lcfc_jme Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 A win for us tomorrow and a draw on Monday puts us out of Millwall's reach if they fail to beat Peterborough. Dons certainly hold the advantage in the pack chasing us. Though if we do win tomorrow and draw Monday, we'll be 12 points above them and they've only got 15 to play for.
Des. Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 "No MK Dons can get 90 points. Just means Millwall could not catch us." True, i forgot about the Dons game in hand
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Win tomorrow and it looks good again. Let's just get that win. Please!!!
Craig Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Win tomorrow and it looks good again. Let's just get that win. Please!!! Like it doesn't look good now
CupidStunt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Win tomorrow and it looks good again. Let's just get that win. Please!!! My thoughts exactly, Funny how things can change, and we havent even played our game yet Come on you Fe3king blue boys, Win sat and mon, jobs a good un
Matt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 My thoughts exactly, Funny how things can change, and we havent even played our game yetCome on you Fe3king blue boys, Win sat and mon, jobs a good un Please don't get into that complacent mindset. It just isn't and won't be that simple, We have already had a warning about complacent and thinking its job done this season. It's looking good though.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Like it doesn't look good now It certainly looks good but you know what we are like. My thoughts exactly, Funny how things can change, and we havent even played our game yetCome on you Fe3king blue boys, Win sat and mon, jobs a good un I am very happy now, fast forward to tomorrow evening with the 3 points in the bag (hopefully) I will be delirious. And drunk too.....
Father Ted Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Those two results have absolutely made my day. Hopefully, we can beat Hereford tomorrow, it won't be easy but I should expect a squad of ours to be capable to put in a proffesional performance and win comfortably. Then bring on the dirty Leeds and lets give them a stuffing and confirm promotion on the day!! COME ON CITY!
Unit Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 is there any mathematical possibility of us getting promoted on monday? even after the game itself... i.e after borough/millwall game
breadandcheese Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Am I the only one looking solely at the title? As far as I'm concerned, working out the different permutations of results, we've in all probability been automatically promoted for weeks. The only issue is winning the title, which I do not want us to throw away. A win tomorrow and we're back to being 4 points clear of Peterborough. Got to get that win, especially with Hereford determined to give us a tough game.
dave_the_fox Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 If these results don't motivate the players for tomorrow I'll run on the pitch and punch them all in the groin
lou Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 No Bread... I want the title too! Ive cracked open a bottle of wine and am toasting Cheltenham Town FC........... I love you guys. Tomorrow is massive.......... I cant wait.
Guest Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 If these results don't motivate the players for tomorrow I'll run on the pitch and punch them all in the groin And so our injury crisis goes from bad to worse
