Sparky Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I have no kids (or at least that I know of) but when I get some I also fear of dying and leaving them without a father. I lost mine when I was 6 and it was tough growing up without a father figure. I would hate my kids to go through that as well. Similar for me also , my biggest fear without doubt. On a lesser scale im not a fan of rodents at all <_<
lavrentis Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Polystyrene. I can never open electrical goods because of this. Its horrible.
Ultra Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 I don't fear beards - just the people that wear them..
Tabou Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009 Banjo.String. Snappage. And I have a hugely irrational fear that one day I'm just going to randomly swerve into oncoming traffic. On purpose. Although I have no suicidal tendancies at all.
Tabou Posted 15 April 2009 Posted 15 April 2009  The thought of it makes me tingle in my special area. And NOT in a good way.

BoneDog Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Does Barry Hayles naked count as a fear? If you are sharing a cell yes
Guest Bilo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Being single for the rest of my bloody life. I need some action for crying out loud.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Banjo.String. Snappage. You'd have to be doing some furious loving before that happened.
BoneDog Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 That looks like the fakest thing ever. It was real, I saw a longer clip a year ago and the van behind stops and traffic on other side is still movin
lookwhaticando Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 That looks like the fakest thing ever. Almost as fake as Pamela Anderson's silicone filled wobblies. On a related note, could someone tell me, was that a random, natural event in the middle of a highway, or was God getting vengeance on the occupants of the car?

The guy had just murdered 6 nuns with a playstation controller, so it was definately vengeance.

Asha Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Death for me too. Which is a shame, seeing as that's the only certainty in life. Maybe it's not the best way to deal with a fear, but I use a 'reassure and distract' method of dealing with my fear of death. It's not just death either, it's the cycle that follows when any remote danger occurs..I think shit...what would happen if I died then...leads on to the fear of death etc...horrible cycle. By reassure and distract, I mean in this case saying to myself 'It's stupid to fear the inevitable' and immediately distract myself by picking up the phone and calling whoever, or reading a topic on here, or watching TV or something. There was a time a couple of years ago where for months I did nothing, screwing myself up over this fear without telling anyone. It's a bastard of a cycle and once you get deeper and deeper you're fooked. Although I know there was never really a threat, this fear is why I reacted so badly to the Hadron Collider, and less publically the outbreak of swine flu. It's not the threat so much, more of a big reminder of my fear. I will die, I know I can't avoid that. The fear of it though, I would love to get rid of.
Guest Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 I always fear the worst. It helps to prevent disappointment.
