Maybe a bit too pricey though. Isn't it Leon Cort at Hull? Forest can't demand £1million for him in their situation. Try 250k. Chevanton??? Your having a laugh. McKenzie would cost at least £1million now he's played in the premiership (and scored a few). Anyways why would he leave Norwich???
The_Foxes_Legend Posted 30 April 2005 Author Posted 30 April 2005 oh yeah my bad Leon Cort my mate said he is good header, Norwich could be in debt if they go down so? that is an idea archerm Carl Cort maybe too pricey and we will have hard time persuading him

Cobbo Posted 30 April 2005 Posted 30 April 2005 Why did my goodbye forest post get deleted???, my thread rather. 101172 It didn't get deleted, it was moved to general football and other sports, where it should be
dog_4 Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 stewart taylor but does look like we are gettin rob douglas cazim richards- what are is main talents and how old is he campball-ryce- if gillespie goes he cud be our shaun wright philips commons- defo ripped the spurs team to shreds steffan moore- sounded very sharp and quick against sunderland and shud be playing tomoz. reckon he is worth a punt
shen Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 I agree with Matt Jansen...but there are many ludicrous suggestions in this thread IMO. Koumas, you're having a laugh! We're not in that league anymore/yet! He's much too high profile, expensive, and why would he ever come to us in our state? Probably a Prem team would pick him up... Some alternative suggestions: Quincy, Hoyte, Karbassiyoon and/or the Swedish midfield youngster from Arsenal (on loan maybe) Alexis Nicholas or Sebastian Kneissl from Chelsea could prove useful Calum Davenport on loan if Tottenham would let him go Scott Dobie from WBA Morrison/Blake from Birmingham (whoever doesn't get playing time), although they could be expensive and also demand quite high salaries Jamal Campbell-Ryce from Charlton Fuller on loan from Pompey ? Ugarte, Boyd, Parkin, Chopra, Hayter and Abbott from League One seem decent and affordable too...
martyn Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 Pawel Abbott and Jamal Campbell-Ryce are the suggestions I like most (and are realistic) in this thread.
MON Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 Richie Partridge The guy from Cardiff, that was at westham and wimbldeon before. (forgotten his name) Scimeca (?) Alan Stubbs.
C-man Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 N'Zogbia from Newcastle MON is referring to Jobi Mcannuf and i think he would be a good signing too Juan ugarte from wrexham
TrickyTrev Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 Callum Davenport and Rohan Ricketts from spurs look like they could be offloaded as they are not anywhere near the first team, both could be expensive options but in my opinion they are premiership class. Heider Helgurson has been talked about and he has always looked good to me but I am not sure that Watford either nooed or want to sell him. Asset stripping the relegated clubs is always a cheap option. Commons looks like the talented player at Forrest and I would be surpised if we are not linked with him. The Crwere midfielder David Wright could also fill that role on the left hand side and they have a 17 year old centre back called Billy Jones who has been talked about as a future England International. Cardiff are in real financial trouble and are likely to want to sell some of their most valuable players, McAnuff has been talked about and I also think Gabbidon is a good player at this level.
Simon Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 Pawel Abbott and Jamal Campbell-Ryce are the suggestions I like most (and are realistic) in this thread. 101429 I'd agree that some of the suggestions in the thread have been a little unrealistic. i like the idea of Helguson, but unless hes out of contract in the summer (in which case we should get him!) he'd be quite expensive. I like Jason Koumas and think he could possibly do a holding job and spray the ball about a bit- and his standing's gone down a bit in recent months so I dont think a loan move would be out of the question. Really we need another centre back as well cant think of anyone that jumps out at me right now though... As for Scimeca coming back- NO WAY!
ollesworld Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 do you think we will be able to get beckham cos real madred dont want him and if arseanal dont want him then he might want to come to a good up and coming teem like lester city. Also how about kezman cos newcastle dont want him and we might be able to offer a few million for the kez man. Ok guys c ya later BYE BOYS!!

dog_4 Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 lets go for commons. can we afford 1 million though?? if we don't get him we still need quality in midfield
dog_4 Posted 1 May 2005 Posted 1 May 2005 lets go for commons. can we afford 1 million though?? if we don't get him we still need quality in midfield levein is now gettin his team together and slowly but shorley gettin us playing good footy on the deck. if we can get commons or macanuff probably the latter being more possible we can then really go far next season. prediction for next season: top 2 finish and good cup runs in the league and fa cup

But things do look brighter again. Now let's thrash Plymouth and end the season with some fireworks. The players can show up without any pressure and give us a worthy demonstration. I reckon there will be about 5 to 6 new players to the club (Ugarte?, Commons? Sturm is a definite one, I'd like to see Kenton and Stuart Taylor on a regular contract), with about 7 to 8 to go: - Dabizas maybe (too inconsistent, but I'm not sure whether he could blossom again when given the trust) - Blake (no impact, often injured and when he was on the pitch, he gave 0%) - Nalis (Age?? Retirement because of personal matters?> Family issues?) - Gemmill (too old and too slow) - Wilcox (Already getting too old and has just gotten over a bad injury, could never prove himself) - Logan (he will never play first team football on a regular basis and remain a Nr. 3 goalkeeper) - Walker maybe (too pricey in the end? Heading back to London?) - Morris (could never prove himself worthy) - Dublin maybe (one more season or retirement?) That would save some serious money and with some good additions, Craig Levein could even give the youth more chance to play from time to time.

I think he'd be fine for this level though, if we could get him. Ricketts is probably more likely to go to Wolves but wouldn't be too bad, i'd prefer Commons or Campbell-Ryce though.
