If you ask me it is perfect cos it is billions of tons in weight and floats in mid-air constantly on the same orbit thousands of miles an hour and we never feel a thing. If the mathematics of the spin and the orbit changed nothing would be possible.

Doesn't float either - aircraft carriers float, ducks float, small stones float, witches float.

The Earth exists in a void, its orbit is not perfect - it is the result of forces being exerted by virtue of the interacting masses and is declining. Eventually the radius of the orbit will have deteriorated to the extent that the Earth is destroyed. Sounds a pretty shit definition of "perfect" to me. I don't know the ins and outs, I'm just a mere mortal, but most things that go wrong on this earth are all man-made. I say most, not all maybe. Alot of physical or mental problems are known to be because of pollution and other stuff that we allow our leaders to start. For example the bombs we dropped in WW1 and 2, Vietnam, Iraq to name a few, they all cause massive problems. In Vietnam for example there are still children being born very badly mutated.

My Mrs is in a wheelchair amd has distorted hands and feet due to arthritis (she only 30) and I have family who have died from disease so I defo don't mean to sound cruel but I have read lots about this stuff and I believe that if we lived in harmony with nature then these problems would not be here.

Most destruction on this planet is due to mans errors or hatred for others. I don't see how this says there is not a bigger power out there?

Whether those laws are themselves down to some infinitely superior intelligence is another matter.

Some believe they are, some believe they're not and some admit the real truth which is that no-one really knows.

And that is despite what religious leaders of various faiths would have us believe as a means of exerting power over us but also of pretending that they know far more than is really the case.

Faith is just that. It is nebulous and in no way needs to be collective apart from reasons of manipulation and, possibly, mutual comfort.

But boy is faith used as a vehicle for coercion, corruption and mind manipulation. And if there is a superior intelligence, I hate to imagine what "He" thinks about it, especially if he meant the human mind to have free will.
