A few players I'd look at if I was Nigel;

Joe Murphy escpecially

Well done to Oakley/Fryatt/Hobbs though.

I though Hobbs was going to be immense this season... and he was.

I knew how good he was when we signed him, having played for S****horpe and having had him on football manager before

Oakley was superb. I knew that he has had his bad games, only a few, but he is quality. He is only our 'stand in' skipper this year but, as Clemence is back, I hope he gets it next year. Both Clemence and Oakley have captained promoted teams to the Premiership in Birmingham and Derby but I do prefer Oakley and I think he should keep it. Hard choice for Nigel though.

Fryatt. What can I say? Great man. Great player.

Finally given his chance and repaid Nigel with goals, goals, goals. 20 before christmas was beautiful and to have a player on 25+ is amazing. Still think we need another striker or two though for competition and that.

Well done to everyone that played this year, from Martin to Stockdale, Oakley to Adams, Dyer to Howard.

On the other hand, with Stearman, I thought he was good this year. But thats only on the highlights.

Mick McCarthy has done well moving him to centre back. FFS, Holloway, Megson, Allen, everyone, Stearman wasn't a right back and now, at centre back it has showed you what he is capable of.

Maybe he is playing with more confidence as well. With him in a Wolves side being top and in a Leicester team that was releagted...

If Tunch had played more then this honour would have been too small for him anyway, he'd have needed a knighthood for services to League 1

That's a tough one, Nige getting us promoted at the first attempt - How often does that happen? Not very, or Fergie Jr back to back promotions. I think Fergie Jr will get it. Pearson 2nd, Di Matteo 3rd.
