J.Lisemore Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 What are you onnabout, I saw the occasional game, didn't want to see the dross we were playing nor the football under Pearson, boring football into Howard everytime, hopefully now in the championship we can play against good quality like reading, Sheff United and Barnsley, all big clubs. If you were a proper fan you would stick by your club through thick and thin.
LeicesterFan10 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 http://homepage.mac.com/elliottday/theoffi...s1/longcock.mp3 I'm just happy were in the championship, let's not draw into personal insults. Come on the leicester
Tilley Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Yeah, great side. That great they could be relegated to League One in a few hours.
LeicesterFan10 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 If you were a proper fan you would stick by your club through thick and thin. I was still a Leicester fan, just didn't waste my hard earned money like the year before.
LeicesterFan10 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Yeah, great side. That great they could be relegated to League One in a few hours. that's disrespectful to Leicester....basicaslly mocking a team because they could be in league 1, if you was a real fan, you'd support the team whatever division instead of throwing insults at them.

LeicesterFan10 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 This coming from a lad who.... just, forget it. ? pathetic response. C'mon Leicester!
Tilley Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 ? pathetic response. C'mon Leicester! Ironic. You just said you'll get a season ticket now they're back in the Championship, yet had the cheek to call me "not a proper supporter" ?!
Matt Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 This lads a pisstake, Leeds fan in disguise taking the piss, trying to get an arguement going I reckon, i've fell into his trap in 2 posts, and a few others have aswell, leave it. Let him take misery in our promotion. We're all happy and celebrating, and had a great season, he's not oh well, his loss.

I can do what I like with my money that I work hard to pay for, I still love Leicester the same. Just didn't want to watch us walk an easy league like we did. A mouse could of predicted we would get promoted this season. J.Lisemore Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I was still a Leicester fan, just didn't waste my hard earned money like the year before. Thats up to you then. You may think League One isn't a great standard of football and a boring Division, but to be honest, like many other part-timers...you missed out.
willchafer Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 league one was great we met those lovely cheltenham fans and i enjoyed every second of it. i live in worcester so dont get to see many games but i sawthe most games ive ever seen in a season 8 and i saw my first cup gettin a season ticket next season me dads saved up some petrol money! yay!
MC Prussian Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Again, a year ago everything seemed to crumble, bleak thoughts, and it looked like we were doomed. Playing in the third tier of English football for the first time in club history. But looking back at it, it has been a blessing in disguise. No one could predict Pearson to be appointed as manager and then having such a success and a good eye with signing or loaning players from Premiership clubs. No one could foresee our support to keep the faith. It has indeed been MASSIVE, the atmosphere at the Walkers has become slightly better, lots more people are getting behind the team. Away trips in League One were the icing on the cake, fun from start to finish. I'd go as far and say that this year has brought the fans and club closer together and both sides have realized how much they depend on each other. If we're getting more recognition back now and even if people who have hardly seen the team play in League One are now to get aboard for next season, let them be. Deep down you all know that you've been places and seen faces you'll never forget and that it is something no one can take away from you. I, for my part, would like this success story to continue in the Championship. Keep up the friendly banter, the friendships and the right attitude and we'll go a long way together.
Lillehamring Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Thats up to you then. You may think League One isn't a great standard of football and a boring Division, but to be honest, like many other part-timers...you missed out. exactly, i would have loved to have gotten to some of the games this season - it feels like it's been one long party. still, i haven't missed a game online all season, and FT has been a brilliant place to hang out along the way. as for boring football, route one to howard - what a load of gash, anyone who has followed the team this season, whether at the ground or on the wireless will know that a lot of the footy and a lot of the goals we have scored have been pure class...can't wait to get the season highlights DVD

I have had the most enjoyable weekends in 42 years of following the Foxes. FT has been great on match days and Ian Stringer has been qualityhis unbiased commentry is fantastic. NP has done a great job to get us out of this division, the first team to bounce staright back in 10 years. I have all the faith that he will bring in the right permenant signings and am sure with his realtions with Fergie, Benitez and Wenger will bring in yet some more good loanees, to give us a sporting chance in the Championship. Well done to all concerned the management , players, fans and FT
Bert Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 under Davey, their a decent outfit, in the championship, did you not see that cup run about two years ago?, pretty obvious to see how good they were by from that. Anyway yeah we were big club a while ago, but I don't judge teams on the past. I was still a Leicester fan, just didn't waste my hard earned money like the year before. Hypocrit comes to mind.
Corky Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 it was pathetic to be in this position, think i'll get a season ticket now, didn't bother in league 1, don't want to watch crap like hereford. So you go to watch the opposition then?

Anyway yeah we were big club a while ago, but I don't judge teams on the past. But this side has constantly stayed below 18th place in the Championship the past three season. They are very, very average as seen by us beating them every time we've played since their promotion to CCC.
