Yea but come on who is going to be flying in on that surface, probably do more harm to yourself than the other person if you going in on a hard tackle. It's only a 6 a side tournament, like down Leisure League nobody ever wore shin pads.

No one will slide you obviously, you could accidently get kicked in the shin thats enough to break it and when they break you know about it. Still your choice I suppose. Make sure you're wearing some for that tournament though Lofty.

Two people go to kick the ball at the same time, coming together, something gets a smack? Not worth the risk really.
