Cat Burger Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I think we'll need several buckets. I'll bring my girlfriend.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Can someone bring a bucket for me to be sick in? I leave college forever on Friday.Mess. Just behave yourself.
DB11 Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 "All Details" rule queries: "If a player passes the ball back to the keeper, then the keeper cannot directly pass it back to that player." And if he does? "Throw-ins and corners can be kicked in." - Can? So can throw ins be thrown in?
lildave3 Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 "All Details" rule queries:"If a player passes the ball back to the keeper, then the keeper cannot directly pass it back to that player." And if he does? Other way round I think mate, if he does it's a penalty. "Throw-ins and corners can be kicked in." - Can? So can throw ins be thrown in? Yeah, underarm.
DB11 Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 What do you mean "Other way round I think mate, if he does it's a penalty.". What I put I copied directly from davieG's post So say you pass it back to your goalkeeper, and he kicks it back to you then it's a penalty? But if he picks it up then it's an IDFK because of a pass back. As attackers cannot enter the area, would the FK be from the point of pass back?
Joe. Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 So attackers aren't even allowed to head the ball in the area at all?

Think he means, if the keeper passes it to you, you can't pass it straight back to the goal keeper - if you do then it's a penalty.

davieG Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I hope this doesn't get too confusing for me Well I'm glad I'm not the referee, it's getting extremely complicated just compiling the rules and the schedules.
lcfc_jme Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I won't remember anything between Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning so somebody may need to text/ring me on Satdee to make sure I'm attending.
filbertway Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I won't remember anything between Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning so somebody may need to text/ring me on Satdee to make sure I'm attending. Will do mate
davieG Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 Ah ok. Maybe davieG should update the sticky thread Updated
filbertway Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 Heroic. Don't forget!!Post-match beers? We might have a few sly ameretto's but nothing of Barry Hayles standards...don't fancy going out round Leicester all sweaty and the like.
DB11 Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 If a free kick is given, how far back must a wall be? If there is a foul on the edge of the area, then it's effectively a free shot because the defence cannot create a wall as they'd be in the penalty area - which isn't allowed. Are we going to say that all free kicks must be x yards away from the penalty area, where x is how far back a wall must in point one I made?
Tevez Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 2 yards for a wall, free kicks are indirect. Ball moved 2 yards away for the foul on the edge of the area.

Can't we get a ref who doesn't know all the rules or doesn't want to know them like we have in the FL
General Smuts Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 Seriously DB it'll just be a laugh and i doubt you'll really need to know everyone of the rules. Matt did really well last year and he clearly knew none of the rules at all As long as you know the basics and let everyone get on with dicking about it'll be reet.

The more seriously you try and take it the more you'll wind people up, to be honest. No need to be overly harsh with the rules - just make sure you're consistent with whatever rules you apply and that you're not too whistle-happy.
