I (boldly...i thought) suggested a cut in headcount, rather than fannying around with 4 day weeks etc. The MD is currently on the phone to the Chairman. I could of single handedly made myself redundant. Fool.
Thracian Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 Got absolutely soaked in a field near Mansfield. Had the shower arrived 10 minutes earlier the day would have been a complete washout without the rain. As it is, we did make one worthwhile purchase and the time it took meant the vendor got a soaking too. Ironically, what we bought off him was going to pay for a holiday in the sun so it was a good deal well done for both of us.

Another ridiculously stupid thing I've done today is chew my nail down further than it may have wished me to. It now kills beyond belief and I keep catching it on everything. I'm such a pussy.
