Seriously I don't know what your problem is and I certainly don't see why you're so concerned with England.

Why not focus on your so called 'talented and up and coming' Serbia side, who were embarrassed to the point of thuggishness by Sweden three days ago in the Under-21s tournament?

We know EXACTLY what we are. You don't. The fact that even intelligent posters like Bilo ignore all the evidence that point to your national team's eternal mediocrity is proof that you are hopelessly deluded.

The root problem is your mad fan culture - it makes you blind (but unlike another anti social cause of this condition it doesn't necessarily make you vote Conservative :P )

Anticipating a great world cup if this game is anything to go by, Spain have missed Iniesta for me and fook knows what Riera's doing in this squad let alone team.

Tom if you had watched all of Spain's matches at the Confederations Cup then you would of seen that Riera has been one of Spain's better players along with David Villa and Xavi. Riera had a great partnership with Capadevila down the left and them pair together created alot of Spain's goals in the tournament.

And another thing Serbia is shit in comparison to England and Great Britain when it comes to sport.

Mate just piss off, you've got some front coming onto an English forum and spouting absolute bollocks like that, i'd never dare dream of going onto a Serbian one and coming out with that without expecting being told where to get off.....

Nobody on here has said we are going to win the World Cup, we no exactly what we are and what we lack in comparison with the Brazilians or say Spanish, doesn't stop us supporting our nation though, we no we are a match for anyone on a good day.....its thinly veiled jealousy on your part i believe.....even if we are "mediocre" and "consigned to the football scrapheap" in your bloated opinion....its still way ahead of what Serbia will ever accomplish....... so get the chip off your shoulder and move on.

I don't see why us having hope that we might actually achieve something at next year's WC has anything to do with a 'mad fan culture' or blindness.

Of course, we may bottle it and lose in an early round, but Capello has given us cause for genuine hope, not blind faith, but cautious optimism. That is something that a lot of fans (not those that the media portray) haven't really had for a long time.

Having said that, I still don't think we'll win it but we'll do a lot better than last summer anyway. :P

I take it that you mean 'know' rather than the negative?

You state that I have a chip on my shoulder. Either my little jokes go right over your head or you have absolutely no sense of humour. You need to lighten up and laugh at yourself a little - but that's difficult to do if you have a thin skin.

I should think that a country with the longest football tradition and with a population five times our own (and a GDP more than 20 times ours) should be '...way ahead of what Serbia will ever accomplish...' But that's the ironic thing - YOU AREN'T AND YOU WON'T. The stats show that we are more likely than you to win a Euro final but that perhaps a World Cup is a tournament too far for us (not least because they keep cutting off bits of our country) as it CERTAINLY is for you.

Your problem is that you don't like hearing all this from a Serb because your mad PC culture prevents you from retaliating. Well if it makes things easier for you I am half English. Or does that make things more difficult?

Your great psycho friend Mr Neil Warnock stated recently that he hated watching England because of the way they play. Go onto a Man U forum and you will see those sentiments echoed a thousand times over.

But if you want a more balanced, considered in depth view from an Englishman read this:

What Brooking is really saying is that you are in fact already finished (despite his recent generous comments about Capello - we all know there's not much you do about 30 year olds). Which explains why he has become the virtually invisible knight.

Who give's a shit what Neil Warnock says about England? That comment is coming from a dickhead who's style of play is about as entertaining as Bolton's. No Englishman will care about what Man United fans say either, aslong as we are happy with what England are doing then thats all that matters, I have no time or respect for people who slate the National team to certain lengths. Trevor Brooking is a twat aswell abit like you.

I really find it funny how people can try and say Serbia is a brilliant sporting nation.. I really dont get it. The biggest sport achievment they have had his that tosser winning the Australian Open in 2008.

It gets even worse!! :crylaugh:

First of mate, i would have seen your posts bitching about all things England humorous if had been just the one post but you have gone on about us again and again and again and again and again....its bordering obsessive...your desperately trying to get the point across that you don't like the way we play but your spouting such utter BOLLOCKS to get there....its laughable.

Also, may i ask what "stats" show that Serbia are more likely to win a EURO final? your 14 places below us in the FIFA rankings, and 12 places below us in the ELO rankings, you made a couple of semi-finals in the EURO's and World cups waaaaaay back in the 60's as Yugoslavia....a team which happened to consist the far superior Croatian players, before we were crowned world champions in 66, you got destroyed in the 2006 World Cup with 3 defeats, you didn't qualify for the World Cup in 2002, EURO 2008 OR 2004, and your in a dire world cup group with your only challenege being a French team that know they will qualify without lifting much of a finger....though they still managed to beat Serbia.... :crylaugh: ...and none of your players would get close to making it into the England starting 11....what im trying to say is mate, Serbia is like the football equivalent planet X, who gives a fook if its there or not......your a nothing footballing nation...

Oh and a word of warning before reading about Manchester United fans opinion on redcafe.....they are pretty much all foreigners :crylaugh: and United has a history since the 1998 World Cup of having an anti-English national team element...i know real Mancs from Manchester who love the national team....and as for Warnock....no comment.....and the article you posted was from 2007 when we were in terrible shape, now we boast a team with a 100% qualifying record, a coach thats won almost everything in the business, the strongest league in the world, an Under 21 side in the final of the Euro U21's, an excellent FIFA and Elo ranking, we are considered a huge game for pretty much every footballing nation out there.....and a record in major tournaments far greater than Serbia.... ....so for us the future looks bright indeed :scarf: but we know we still have to improve vastly before we can truly say we have a chance of lifting the trophy....

Oh and btw i am half Irish but i'd never dream on going on one of their forums and spouting what you have, once again partly because i know ill get roasted and because i'd feel totally ashamed for embarrassing myself and my heritage...

I think Dejan Stanković would get pretty close, especially with our lack or real depth on the wings

Is the above a witless stream of consciousness rant or does your lack of care and attention to the goings on within your national team extend to your prose (and English is not my mother tongue)?

And pardon me for having the temerity for participating in the 'England discourse' (that was started by others) but if you don't like what I say why bother to reply and supply me with more fuel for a bonfire of YOUR vanities? Or do you insist on having the last word in these matters?

OK on to the points you raise.

(1) Four of the last nine Euro finals have been won by countries with populations under 20 million (Czechoslovakia '76, Holland '88, Denmark '92 Greece '04). For a variety of reasons the Euro's favour smaller teams (particularly counter attacking teams).

(2) Your FIFA ranking is a joke - how can it be justified when you failed to qualify for Euro 08 (finishing in THIRD place). Are you trying to tell me you are within an ace of catching Brazil? As I've been saying all along, the FIFA rankings themselves are a joke.

(3) OK Tito's boys. The team tended to be dominated by Serbs (particularly those playing for Partizan & Red Star). There was a 'positive discrimiation' selection policy so a number of other internal nationalities were called up (particularly Croats) in an attempt to preserve the union (to the detriment of the national team). In the '60s Yugoslavia made the Euro finals twice (in '68 we lost to the host nation Italy in a replay after playing England off the park in the semi's). We were semi finalists in the World Cup in '62. And most of our players were AMATEURS (fully amateur of course when winning the Olympic final in '60).

(4) So our group is easier than your group is it? OK seeing as you're so into FIFA rankings let's settle this YOUR WAY by seeing what the average ranking score is shall we? Well your group comes out with an average rank of 73.6. And ours is 59. But any neutral at first glance could see that your group is less competitive.

(5) No great humiliation losing to France by the odd goal in Paris. After all you haven't beaten them in over 10 years (as you haven't managed to beat Brazil, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Sweden...)

(6) OK lets look at your qualification record. You have failed to qualify for three out of the fifteen World Cups you have entered ('74, '78 & '94). You didn't have to qualify in '66 and in '50 and '54 you did so via your 'home internationals'. Off home soil you have made the semi's once. In the 12 Euro's entered you have failed to qualify for the final stages on no fewer than FIVE occasions (most recently '08) and failed to proceed to the knock out phase from a group on FOUR occasions. You have never made a Euro final.

(7) Are those 'foreign Red Cafe Man U' fans then the same ones I hear chanting in northern accents 'Fook Off England' and 'If You All Hate England Clap Your Hands' in the away section of any stadium you care to mention? The same 'foreign fans' perhaps who regard Paul Scholes as a bit of a role model when he not so privately confided that he hated playing for his country?

(8) So you were in a terrible state in 2007? And Capello (his record on close inspection is not that impressive given the time served, the teams coached and the resources that were at his disposal) has turned it all around has he? England certainly has more morale and the players put in more effort but technically there has been no obvious improvement (in your match against FIFA's 196th ranked team the visitors played more first time passes than England and that's a fact as Rafa might say).

(9) Serbia is a young country (and getting younger by the day - soon it will only be Belgrade and its suburbs if this carries on). England for sure now will never win a major tournament as your rate of player production is slowing down.

Fewer and fewer English players can get into your top sides (there may well be more Serbs in Man U's first team next season). The EPL is what it is because of foreign talent - the highest % of any major league (acquired on the largest mountain of sporting debt in the world). And no top level technical talent has emerged since Walcott. Not so here. We may have fewer tournament opportunities than you (thanks in part to questionable FIFA/UEFA seeding) but we might not need as many - like Greece and Denmark - to take advantage.

And there's the rub - you take advantage by realising you are not as good as the quality opposition and by not trying to take them on at their own game. But English pride would never allow for that.

(10) I don't think that you are in touch with your other half. I've never met anyone claiming any sort of Celtic ancestry getting quite so worked up about England!

Almost as bad as me crying over the Croats!

England are a better team than Serbia. Fact.

I didn't realize Serbia were that high up. Pretty impressive for a young nation getting broken up every 5 seconds.

You're right.

I am staggeringly unintelligent.

I even have trouble tying my shoes in the morning which explains why I usually wear slip-ons.

So glad that somebody has exposed my terrible secret so I don't have to live a lie anymore.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Well, I thought it was pretty poor until 75 mins!

I was pleased when SA scored the first but I wanted to Spain to equalise just for ET an Pens, then when the second Spain goal went in I was out of my seat, thinking what a great goal, but disappointed with no ET.

So I thought if SA had any sense they would put Booth up front and lump it up to him, before they got the free-kick. So then i am thinking don't shoot mate put it high up to Booth its obvious there is not enough qaulity to put the ball in the net. Then it rockets in and i am once again sat with my mouth wide open!

What a game!

Believe it or not, that 'tosser' has won one more grand slam than Murray.

Do you remember the last time an Englishman won at Wimbledon? Yes, Jelena Jankovic was partnering Jamie Murray. Ana Ivanovic won Roland Garros last year.

I could do this all day but the sports that are common around the most of Europe like Volleyball (5th in the world), Basketball (5th in the world) and Water Polo (3rd in the world).

These are all sports that countries such as France, Germany and Italy all play and are succesful at aswell so before you open your mouth, please use your brain for once!

Perhaps RC thinks that would be a likely score if the two sides were to meet.
