Joe. Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Well Bristol City fans seemed to be disappointed about the prospect of him leaving when our initial interest was confirmed.
DanTheFox07 Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Marlon Harewood. Lord please no, hell no!!! shocking player!
maddog Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 At last something may happen, hopefully Very boring though if it's Wheale Hoping for a SHOCK SIGNING, of Cox or Beckford or Lita etc
morris1234 Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Major Announcement at 10am i knew it was this as it was linked at the bottom of Tb as an old thread. i still clicked it though, the temptation!
Nugent Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 I'm not aware of needing a gas man, but we'l have to wait and see. All I'll say until it's officially announced is that it's definitely a goalkeeper from a Championship club. And hasn't played for us before either. As others have said in this thread, it is Chris Weale.
Babylon Posted 28 May 2009 Author Posted 28 May 2009 Major announcement? It can't be Weale then. Oh dear
Finnegan Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Speculative post about any number of players we've been linked to.
Brainy Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Oh. Can't say I actually clicked on the link but it would have made sense for the OS to have put that up.
David Guiza Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Dunno why that picture made me laugh so much . I'd be dissapointed if it was Weale, not that he's a bad keeper. Just that i would rather Cox or someone like that signed .
lildave3 Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Walkers trying to pass judgment on something he hasn't actually seen? Never.
Koke Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 It's probably DJ Campbell leaving. That feels like a brand new signing.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 An ex-Southampton player, either Kelvin Davies or Andrew Surman. Or Dany N'Guessan. Or Simon Cox. Or Rickie Lambert. Or a loanee made permanent. Or nobody and we've all been had. Definitely one from that list.
Dan Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Its Jermaine Beckford. Source: http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/pilot/module5/graphics/pig.jpg
Nath Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 Walkers trying to pass judgment on something he hasn't actually seen? Never.
Bert Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 This is gonna be so funny, when everyone's high hopes are brought crashing back down to earth when it's N'Guessan. I don't actually know this for sure btw.
