Brainy Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Did anyone think that this would go any other way? funny of you to say that.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I thought it would be hard to win but i at least though they'd put up a fight. The Ashes are irrelevant. funny of you to say that. That's his style to come in after the event and say he bet/backed it.
purpleronnie Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 If we struggle against holland weve got no chance against these. Shows how important good spinners are. Brilliant fielding (well it sounds like it anyway)>

Fosse Boy Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Ravi always looks a class above when he plays for Essex, and yet he doesn't for England. I don't understand it. I can't stand the Saffers either, hope Broadeh gets fired up for their innings and we make a decent game of it...
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I want to know which Jackass thought it be funny to put us in the same group/class as South Africa, India and Chris Gayle???
Fosse Boy Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Nelson all out. On one leg then lads! :pirate: Come on England!
Fox You Forest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 If i come back from taking the dog and SA are 30-5 i won't be happy.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I fear for Stuart Broad when he faces Yuvraj on sunday!!It's going to be carnege!!! One positive to come out of this tournament is the quality Leggy we potentially have coming through in Adil Rashid. Poor captaincy among other things is to blame for this defeat.

Fox You Forest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I would have thought it was just piss poor batting Rashid is the only positive, spinning it both ways.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I would have thought it was just piss poor batting The skipper, along with Swann and Broad being Nottinghamshire players should've judged the pitch immediately.
Brainy Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Ronnie - it wasn't really a case of 'England not beating the Dutch'. We didn't do too badly against them, we could have set a higher target and bowled better, made better decisions at the death but it was more down to an inspired Dutch performance. We beat Pakistan comfortably. What was the problem there? Not impressed with your HD picture?
