Samilktray Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 Ive got emails from Facebook set up as 'Junk' but I want to change this to it not being junk mail. How do I do this? The emails from Facebook arent in my junk mail though
StanSP Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 You could try going on Settings and untick/tick the On option on whether you want e-mails or not Why aren't they going into your junk folder if they are set as junk mail?
DB11 Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 When you get an email from Facebook and it's in the Junk folder, right click it and set senders domain to safe senders list.

lookwhaticando Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Couldn't you have come up with a more interesting or otherwise specific username? xxx is a bit bland and ambigious. And at your age, inappropriate.
DB11 Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Couldn't you have come up with a more interesting or otherwise specific username? xxx is a bit bland and ambigious. And at your age, inappropriate. I blanked them out because I don't want people, like, them spam bots, emailing me
Daggers Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I haven't had an email from Facebook which wasn't junk.
Monk Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 I have deleted 90 people from my friends list over the past fortnight. It feels good. Seriously - you can't really have time for more than 100 friends, at most. I'm not interested in friends of friends knowing what I am up to all the time. And the quizzes drive me up the wall. I just hide people who do them frequently. Facebook has gone shit. It had a period where it was really starting to attract more people from older generations but it is just a portal for spam these days.
Darkzzz_ Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 It is a massive spam filled mess, twitter on the other hand...

You're getting old Monk, you're sounding like Richard Ingrams did yesterday when he was talking about his hatred of the internet.
Dr The Singh Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Don't like Facebook, don't like Twitter? You're getting old Monk, you're sounding like Richard Ingrams did yesterday when he was talking about his hatred of the internet. I've shut down my facebook account, too many nob jockeys and bitches that wanted to be my friend. For fooking what reason would they want to be my friend without knowing what type of tosser I am!!
Monk Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Fair point, I am a bit of a moody bugger on occasion. Facebook has its uses – mainly keeping in touch with relatives and friends abroad and for posting photos. The advertising and the general spam annoys me immensely though. Twitter on the other hand is a different kettle of fish/bird. I use it to follow serial entrepreneurs and a handful of folk/acoustic artists. There is spam there too, but it’s easier to filter out. I don’t see it as a way of staying in touch, and I’d be surprised if it’s as popular in 5 years time.

Guest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Lisa baby, I don't need to invite you as my friend, were more then that!!! Redeemed!
Daggers Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Redeemed! Shouldn't you be in America or Japan or something?
Guest Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Shouldn't you be in America or Japan or something? Not today. Tomorrow I shall be enjoying the delights of the Virgin Lounge at Heathrow. I do hope it's not what it sounds like.
DB11 Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Not today. Tomorrow I shall be enjoying the delights of the Virgin Lounge at Heathrow. I do hope it's not what it sounds like. The airport lounge at Heathrow is better than at Manchester Airport. Heathrow or Gatwick, anyway, one of them is. Though it doesn't take much to eclipse Manchester airport. The new terminal there, which is probably not new anymore, looks good though. I like it when you drive into the airport car park and go into check in in the dead early morning, too.
