EDIT: http://fourfourtwo.com/news/england/32641/default.aspx Why not? Madrid have bought in Kaka, Ronaldo and Villa. Will Huntelaar still be first team?
StanSP Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Huntelaar wasn't even picked in the additional stages of CL (Diarra was instead). Now that Madrid have Villa, it looks like Huntelaar will go.
MarkDeVries Posted 13 June 2009 Author Posted 13 June 2009 Why not? Madrid have bought in Kaka, Ronaldo and Villa. Will Huntelaar still be first team? I was thinking more along the line of how they only just bought him in January, but Madrid will continue to suprise everyone. 9 players are leaving.
FoxesFan123 Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 They have only just signed him, and he was doing exceptionally well there in the short while he was there, I don't think they'll be that quick to get rid of him.
Lovejoy Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Would be a good addition for the Yids if they get him, seems Pavlyawotsit is off to Roma as well.
AyewJoking Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 What would be more surprising is Spurs signing a quality player!!
Joe. Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 They need to get a bit of money back for their recent little spendage, so Huntelaar should bring home a sizeable amount. We all know that Spurs will pay big money for players. I have a feeling that Huntelaar would actually do quite well in the Premiership.

I think he's a good number 9, which is why I don't want him to go to Spurs.

dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 I'd love to see Huntelaar in the Prem, would be a cracking signing for Spurs imo.
Lovejoy Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Yeah, seems like a poacher, a bit like V.Nistelrooy. Who Spurs are also allegedly after. I reckon he. could still do a job in the Prem
lildave3 Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Huntelaar is class. Would be a quality partner for Jermain.
Joe. Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 They paid €20m for him, so they're obviously not going to want to lose out on him. Looking at £20-25m possibly?
Samilktray Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 So he'll spend a season or 2 at Spurs then fuck off to Yanited.
Shane Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Ruud van nistelrooy is already ment to be leaving Real madrid, which gives room for David Villa. So i doubt, Huntelaar will go anywhere, he'll probably be on the bench but hey..

Van Nistelrooy is out until mid-september so won't be able to move anywhere.
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 If I were United I would take Huntelaar as part of the Ronaldo deal. Madrid would do it.
potter3 Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Prefer Huntelaar to Berbatov. When United were looking for a striker last summer I was hoping they'd go for him.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Not worth starting another topic about but Luis Jimenez from Inter is going to be unveiled at West Ham on tuesday/wednesday, that is if his work permit goes through in time, If not end of this week.
Granno Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 Always been good when I've seen him play. Seems like a prospect.

Got this wrong, going to be by the end of the week. Taken them longer as they have now began talks with Mancini! Shevchenko could be the next in there too i'm told. Scolari's new team though are offering double what West Ham are prepared to give him in wages.

Big Ol' Bob Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Yeah, ex Roma player. Hasn't settled at Inter and has fell out with Mourinho. They asked about Mancini during negotiations for Luis Jimenez. Steve Clarke, ex chelsea coach, is obviously good mates with Jose and thats how they are hoping to sign him. Jimenez deal has already been agreed in principal but talks over Mancini are yet to happen.West Ham want medicals for both at the weekend.
