MikeyT Posted 25 February 2011 Posted 25 February 2011 While on Facebook, look at your URL address; if you see http: instead of https: then you don't have a secure session and you can be hacked. Go to Account|Account Settings|Account Security and click Change. Check at least the first setting, FB defaults to the non-secure setting P.S. It will block applications though and when you want to use for example, Bejeweled Blitz it asks you to revert back to the original setting.

I always warn a couple of my mates when i'm heading out ie: every Thursday to Sunday to expect drunk texts and FB messages but they know what i'm like so they expect my messages of effection. I haven't used facebook since last november when the fosse boys sorted out a forum (not interested in social networking, just wanted to keep on top of what the group was planning) - left facebook well alone since with all emails blocked and all of a sudden i get an email about friend requests. Have FB made any-updates that reset the what emails you want to recieve sort of thing?
