Kasabian yes those lovely Leicester boys and the soon to be biggest band in the country and Brit winners following there superb new album and Glastonbury set sent the club a 20 second edit of there new single 'FIRE' to use as goal celebration music. The track is superb its everywhere at the minute, all over the BBC's coverage of wimbledon ect cos its bang on! Now a track like that from a bunch of proper City fans who WANT us to take it on we gotta have that as the new goal music not CHELSEA dagger by a load of Scottish numpties. Agree? Lets all message the club get a vote going and make it happen!

Ford Super Sunday Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 I am getting close to exploding on this issue GOAL MUSIC IS SHIT! period we are not puppets, we don't need to be encouraged when to cheer, we are not MK Dons, we have real fans. Chelsea Dagger can go and fook itself right now, and I do not want to hear another micro-second of goal music when we score at home this season, it makes us look like complete cants. I am sure i'm not the only person who refuses to dance when that shitty peice of music is played after the goal, I only get like 3-4 seconds of celebrating goals, then that shit kicks in and it ruins everything. They've said that lots of people like it and to be fair judging from the number of animated monkeys when we score it's hard to argue with them. Having said that did they ask people if they where unhappy with out the goal music? - No! The problem is the longer they persist the more it becomes the norm and new fans will not know anything else. I'm sure if they now asked do we want goal music they'd get a majority saying yes but I believe they would also have got a majority saying no to goal music if they'd have asked before.

They played Club Foot at the Varsity game when the players were coming out of the tunnel, and it did sound pretty impressive. Still, you can't drop PHG.
