Stuliasz Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I'd prefer no music but if they insist, then I can envisage Fire doing a decent enough job.
Dan Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I hate this thread and everything it stands for!! So what goal music would you have then?
Shrenchel Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 So what goal music would you have then? Don't be ridiculous. Anyone that says they'd rather not have goal music but then starts making mongy alternative suggestions isn't thinking straight. Compromise is acceptance. It's admitting the fundamental principle is a good one.
Nod.E Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 That's shit prefer Chelsea Dagger. Everyone deserves the right to their own opinion.... Every rule has an exception. 'Fire' is shit? You like 'Chelsea Dagger'? You prefer 'Chelsea Dagger' to 'Fire'? Oh dear. Behave yourself!
BlabyFox Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 That's shit prefer Chelsea Dagger. I thought that but it grows on yer.
Dr The Singh Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 No.Goal. Music. Thank you. I think we should have something that matches the diversity of the city, eg Jai Ho - Fanny Cat Dolls!!! PS - Only Kiddin, I prefer no music, only cheering

That's what you want!!
Dr The Singh Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 You're not kidding; you really want that playing, nay, you want them to run onto the pitch and sing and gyrate along to it! That's what you want!! Only if I can gyrate with you Leeeese!!!! Seriously though, no music is best!!!
Asha Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Personally, I won't be ****ing happy until they play a celebration psalm, or blare out a rendition of 'Alleluia'.
Guest Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Only if I can gyrate with you Leeeese!!!! Seriously though, no music is best!!! Sir Fynwy will be jealous. You know how much he wants to gyrate with you!!

Corky Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Personally, I won't be ****ing happy until they play a celebration psalm, or blare out a rendition of 'Alleluia'. What's that again Nuss?
Dan Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 He wouldn't. Don't be ridiculous. Anyone that says they'd rather not have goal music but then starts making mongy alternative suggestions isn't thinking straight. Compromise is acceptance. It's admitting the fundamental principle is a good one. My point was a majority of this thread and what it stood for was against goal music, so presumed that he wanted something. EDIT: Just read first post and it promotes goal music, my bad.

One Half Wonder Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 What about 'O Fortuna' by Carmina Burana (old spice advert) for coming out the tunnel?!! - we had that a couple of years ago and was an awesome track to run out on the pitch to, very passionate and stiring!

That song (composed by Carl Orff by the way, Carmina Burana was the name of the suite it was taken from) should not be used at football matches. You hear that and you expect all hell to break loose, like Armageddon or something, but all you're left with is 22 blokes walking out a tunnel. It's embarassing.

I expect a middle aged man to surf onto the pitch smelling like a cross between parma violets and dettol.

The original PHG was fine for many years, I'd like to go back to that.
milan_foxes Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 Right this might have been done but......Kasabian yes those lovely Leicester boys and the soon to be biggest band in the country and Brit winners following there superb new album and Glastonbury set sent the club a 20 second edit of there new single 'FIRE' to use as goal celebration music. The track is superb its everywhere at the minute, all over the BBC's coverage of wimbledon ect cos its bang on! Now a track like that from a bunch of proper City fans who WANT us to take it on we gotta have that as the new goal music not CHELSEA dagger by a load of Scottish numpties. Agree? Lets all message the club get a vote going and make it happen! Finally, Someone That Thinks The Same Ever Since Its Came out Everyone Has Said To Get That Done! -
