You need a new dictionary or encyclopedia then. Your teachers were trained to repeat, meaning, what you see as fact, is just one version of what the truth may be. You're not too stupid to believe everything you read, see or hear, so why do so via an encyclopedia. Unfortunately, most people are, the more this happens, the more that version of the truth seems credible. So you don't agree with loan players? You can't see the benefits that they offer? Short termism, never a stable concept. Most governments think short termism. No good building a straw hut in the sunshine when it could be blown away the next day. Does a job have to be for life? If you leave the UK to work abroad, does this mean you cannot return? Commitment, want a city player who's commited, or someone using us as a stepping stone?

Well the amount of rickety boats suggested by some people in this thread used by immigrants to get here, and if Griffins insane plan to sink them using er torpedoes then the amount of people dead in the channel must be enormous!

Rather than spending billions on the Chunnel, we could have made use of the flotsam and debris, and made a causeway to the continent, or something.

When I was watching interview on bbc, when he gets slightly grilled on something, he just says "We'll have a national discussion". or basically "I have no idea what to do, but im angry".

I can safely say that "putting holes in ships" or equally "throwing them lifebelts" is obviously not a good idea of any sorts, or practical or legal I bet. Thats the whole point of goverment. To come up with the ideas to complex issues.

Illegals are effectively invaders, the first job of government is to protect the nations people, therefore its perfectly legal and justifiable to shoot down an invasion, however small it maybe, especially when they know they're doing wrong. The stumbling block, is that the people who rule us, want them to come here to create unrest, I.D Cards = order out of chaos. Its a famous game plan thats been used for 300 years, WW1, WW2, Veitnam, current wars etc. We had ID cards just after WW2, the people soon got rid of them, yet the people fought the war for ID cards. The British Government have adopted an idea to ease the disgruntled public who are increasingly concerned with high immigration levels. Britains population now consists of 78% immigrants, 10% genuine British people and 12% gypsies and peg sellers. The Government have decided that any immigrant wanting to enter the UK will have to prove they genuinely want to adopt the British way of life. The candidates will be held in holding pens for three months, along with the peg sellers. after which they will be required to enter Afghanistan or Iraq and walk around the country waving the Union Jack whilst singing God Save The Queen for a period of two weeks. Any immigrants who survive the two weeks will be granted a full British passport and be allowed to enter our shores where they will be able to live their lives as British people. The government are keen to point out that any immigrant who refuses, will be cast adrift in the North Sea on a polystyrene float and have crabs thrown at them by the Royal Navy
