Tilley Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 What a nice guy When asked what's happening with his future, he said.. 'Hopefully a permanant move to Dundee United, things would have been different if I hadn't got injured.' He shook my hand when I told him I thought he was a decent player & wished me all the best. I for one hope he takes the SPL by storm! If you ever read this, James, all the best, you're a top bloke.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 You know that he will take the SPL by storm in the first 3/4 games, but then ultimately he will get injured and miss 3 months here and there, and unfortunately he will probably get released then have an early retirement. I really hope I am wrong, but I can only really see him struggling more. And I totally blame that Big Bolo Balde who inflicted a broken leg which he has never recovered from.
Mr Happy Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 I once bumped into Jimbo up town in the Shires, he was with Stearman and both of them are genuinely nice guys. They stopped, let me shake their hands and wish them good luck for the future. Good luck Jimbo, hope you do take the SPL by storm
Ultra Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 Now that Sky and ESPN have bailed out the SPL, maybe the move will be back on again.
Tilley Posted 19 July 2009 Author Posted 19 July 2009 He was with Stearman & Kisnorbo & they were surrounded by females nobody on this forum would turn down, trust me! Kisnorbo got a 'DON'T JOIN DERBY' in his face, which he loved and laughed off.

haraven Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Did Martin Keown have a bunch of female followers too?
SystonFox Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 i will always remember Weso for that goal against Fulham to put us 1-3 up 1 minute into the start of the second half. beaut of a strike and in that particular game he seemed to look a worldie from my blue tinted specs?!!!! shame he got injured and couldn't keep up his form. best of luck to him.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 A player I liked, and a good footballer. Just a real shame about his persistant injury problems. Good luck in Scotland.
glebe_sydneyfox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 always kept a close watch on Jamie, that tackle really did de-rail his City career. Hope he forges some sort of career abroad

I always remember that game for how he played not that great but scored, and was then praised to high heaven afterwards. Tiatto who he'd replaced when he went off injured was inexplicably playing like Roy Keane for about 19 minutes, but was largely ignored.
OzFox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Haberfield Fox here. We have got the Inner west covered! : Excellent! Maybe Wesa will take up residence here

Matt Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 always kept a close watch on Jamie, that tackle really did de-rail his City career. Hope he forges some sort of career abroad I said a few injuries ago he should go home and try to start a career in the A-League or something. Really good player, I really like him, but unfortunately injuries have and probably will hold him back.
lildave3 Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 I loved watching Weso play. If he wasn't so injury prone i'd definitely want to keep him.
