Teece Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 had last week off work, wanted to go camping, it was lashing down every day so didnt end up bothering got completely soaked walking home from work earlier too, and that was with an umbrella
dandannieldanok Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 This weather is utterly shite, more ****ing storms.
Salieri Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Can't believe people actually voted in this pointless poll! (voted no)
Flynny Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Easily the coldest July ive ever known. I blame global warning I noticed the BBC havn't given up on blaming humans via their report yesterday of melting ice, thus rising water, what they keep forgetting is that water expands when it freezes. The media's eagerness to put a global warming slant on things, as (really, really) irritating as it is, isn't reflective of the science behind it. Also, what you've said is why the north polar ice-cap isn't much to worrying about - the kilometres of ice sat on Antarctica aren't floating in the sea.
Alexikokopops Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 It's been a shit July but people seem to forget the cracking June we had, and even May. They only got to use the roof at Wimbledon about once!
Guest Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 It's been a shit July but people seem to forget the cracking June we had I wouldn't know, I was out of the country for most of it.

Foxes glacier mints are falling into the water, thus some polar bears are having to swim more, some are loosing their lives because they aren't murdering enough seals. You're right, whilst these foxes glaciers are melting sea levels remain the same. If only the Sun could get through the blinking clouds (formerly ice) to give us some blinking warmth, im having to put the heater on, ITS JULY.
maddog Posted 31 July 2009 Author Posted 31 July 2009 Apparently August is going to be even worse than July http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/20...ualties-helmand
Matt Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 Not been too bad today, Compared to what we have had recently, It's raining now but been fairly bright today, wouldn't call it a summers day though - far from it.
