We could therefore play Weale Neilson Hobbs Ward McGivern Oakley Wellens Osbourne N'Guessan Fryatt Kermogant So potentially 8 new players with only one of last years defence left. Personally I wouldn't want Tunchev to leave but Ward is a good player (and scores goals). If we could get 2 million for Mattock and McGivern on loan (possible to be signed at the end of the year) I'd be happy. Osboure would be a great defensive midfielder BUT doesn't scoire goals like King. Kermogant appears to take good free kicks and corners. Agreed or am I talking shite?

Agreed, that the rumour about Tunchev and Ward doesn't appear to be happening, thank goodness. Do you believe that there will be no signings or departures this week?

I think the issue is that the team you posted is all conjecture based on unfounded rumours and just seems a bit pointless until we actually sign anyone. We could have done the same thing with Cox, Lita and any number of players over the summer but we don't know anything about 3 new players this week at the moment. At the moment we don't have any new players to kick off the season in our back four.

Why not? Won't cost us a penny and is probably better than what we've got, Berner and Powell etc. I'm for the move, Mattock's been playing very poorly lately and I think a bit of competition will get the pair of them scrapping like hell for their place.
