lou Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 the username suggests it may be he used to be on here as Chambo9 a few years ago Thats what I thought! Fair play to him for sticking up for himself. Not a nice thing to be accused of if its not true
Bert Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He's a good lad is Ashley. Shame it hasn't seemed to work out for him here, still holding out a hope for him though.
smokey Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He's a good lad is Ashley. Shame it hasn't seemed to work out for him here, still holding out a hope for him though. Me too! Quite like the look of the lad but he needs a 6 month/season long loan at a lower league club to see what he is made of and to get the experience! Cant understand why this hasnt happened!!

Same... have watched him play for the academy when he was 14/15 and had such high hopes. Doesnt look good at the moment but hes got a squad number so maybe?
Tommy G Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I think you should get your facts straight mate it was a SHANDY!!!!!!! How do you know? Are you claiming to be the real deal. If you are then tell me what car you drive and what colour it is.
Ultra Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 A source within his family told me last week that Chesterfield had enquired about him. Whether anything will come of this remains to be seen.
Leicesterboi Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 That is Chambers posting and I say fair play to him. We were out on Saturday with him in R Bar. It was abit annoying because we just wanted a decent night and people kept coming up to him etc but oh well part and parcel I suppose. But on Friday he was not drink driving, he had a shandy so I think rumours like this are damaging! And I think he may be going out on loan in the next 10 days or so to a League 1 outfit.

Gradel has shown you can get in and around the first team by proving yourself elsewhere. Good luck.

Mickey O'Neil Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Saw him in the Observatory on friday slumped over a pint...then drove home. Who said he was drink driving? Not having a pop, but that post 'suggests' it is you! I'm certain I'm not the only person who thinks this.
crazylegs1984 Posted 12 August 2009 Author Posted 12 August 2009 wow i didnt think this post would have any posting power but how wrong was i turned out chambers himself has quoted on it himself i wish the best to him and i hope he does have a future at the club because i rate him i believe he can become a 1st team member with some 1st team experience under his belt
Tommy G Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Not having a pop, but that post 'suggests' it is you! I'm certain I'm not the only person who thinks this. Correct me if im wrong but you could probably have 2 pints and drive. I didn't say ''he was drink driving'' though. never mind, he was driving a pretty slick A3 which isnt bad for an 18 yr old.

You may not have meant to but it did appear to insinuate he wasnt behaving appropriately in some way. Why even mention he was driving?
Hackneyisblue Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 If Kermogant was to sign then someone has to leave Chambers, Sappleton, Dickov, Howard, Fryatt, Waghorn, Kermogant, Campbell I'd keep 4 of them
Mikey Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Hopefully he'll go on loan to a League One side, and play well like Maxi did, and return to Leicester looking to break into the first team. I still think he'll become a good player, when I've seen him he's looked decent. Good luck to him whatever happens.

Guest Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Wow. Talk about an over reaction Is there an over-reaction of the year category in the annual FT awards? If not, we should definitely start one this year
Tommy G Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I've had a bad day and took it out on her. Apologies
