Collymore Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Any one who knows of ways to generate commentary through computer speakers (on the cheap) let us know Think I might bite the bullet and sign up to that new thing 2-0 Leicester Berner and Oakley
ob1kanobe0 Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 2-0 seems about the right score. I'd like Wellens to score.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I've stuck 2-0 down for predictions. At what time does commentary come available on Player? Currently not available apparantly...
mmarkie Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Weale O'Neill Hobbs Morrison Powell N'Guessan Oakley© Wellens Adams Howard Fryatt Couldn't hear the subs.

Hitesh Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 WealeO'Neill Hobbs Morrison Powell N'Guessan Oakley© Wellens Adams Howard Fryatt Couldn't hear the subs. Interesting. Nice to see O'Neil, Adams and Powell given run outs. I think its a good thing playing Fryatt, he needs match time to regain sharpness and its the perfect environment to do it tonight! Not so sure about playing Howard though, better used in the league IMO.
davieG Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 City 4-4-2 Weale; O'Neill, Morrison, Hobbs, Powell, Adams, Oakley, Wellens, N'Guessan, Fryatt, Howard. Subs: Logan, Brown, Dyer, Gradel, Waghorn, Ajdarevic, Dickov.

Webbo Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 IMO Fryatt will not start in the league. Waghorn's much better. Waghorn's scored one in 45 mins. Fryatt scored 30+ last season.
RowlattsFox Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Pretty much the side i expected, that midfield should dominate quite comfortably. Well you'd like to think so anyway. 2-1 win. Fryatt (p), Wellens.
Ultra Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Standing just behind the goal at Moss Rose. Reasonable turnout of Foxes, both on terrace & in seats. Having to dodge wayward shots by Howard & Waghorn. Hope they're better in the match..
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Suprised Powell is playing but pleased too. Hope Fryatt gets an hour before going off to get match fitness and would like to see Howard score to get off the mark. come on City!
unreachable Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Various websites say that the match is available to watch by "Live Streaming" eg by Sopcast - any recommendations?
Webbo Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Various websites say that the match is available to watch by "Live Streaming" eg by Sopcast - any recommendations? It's not on Justintv. There's loads of international football on live so I doubt whether it would be on.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Powell starting! Hope he plays as much as he did last year now Mattock has fooked off.
Radovan's Caravan Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I notice that your opponents on Saturday played their fixture in this Micky Mouse tournament last night. One key aspect of sports science applicable to football that the thicko's who run your game have been desperately slow to acknowledge are recovery periods. Your club has 24 hours less than your oppenents to recover for a game away from home. Without so much as moving a muscle Ipswich Town will have round about a 5% advantage in match fitness over you at kick off time on Saturday. This advantage will grow steadily after the hour mark to the point that you will almost feel a man light. Research has shown that teams at a recovery disadvantage find it more difficult to hold a lead late into a game, claw back a deficit and that they also concede more goals in the final stages . The difference between 3/4 day recovery periods is not as marked as perhaps 2/3 but it is statistically significant. If FIFA recognise this in their tournament planning then so should your FA and Football League.
