AmericanScott Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 I love how pissed off people are about John and Edward. Makes me want them to win even more.
Matt Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Have any of the judges had any balls and actually as a group sent anyone home, or is this just always going to go to Deadlock?
lavrentis Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 No, how can that greasy haired twat be through
maddog Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Lloyd is just as bad as John and Edward at singing and is no where near as entertaining. Bummer.
AjcW Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 eyeyey... Fucking joke. Her performance just then was great. And her performance last night.
Libertine Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Simon is such a wimp. I don't care if he's ill. Rachel can sing and Lloyd can't. Simple decision.
maddog Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Have any of the judges had any balls and actually as a group sent anyone home, or is this just always going to go to Deadlock? I think it's gone to deadlock every week so no, the judges who are paid £millions to do this don't have the balls to send anyone home. Not even the strippers.
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Lloyd is just as bad as John and Edward at singing and is no where near as entertaining.Bummer. This is true but at least there is only one Lloyd.
maddog Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 The really frustrating thing now is that Lloyd will get the sympathy vote from the public next week after being in the bottom two this week so end up saved again
jonthefox Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 good to see bon jovi show them how its done..
C-man Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Have any of the judges had any balls and actually as a group sent anyone home, or is this just always going to go to Deadlock? The reason why it goes to deadlock every week is just a clever ploy from ITV to fool idiots that actually vote into thinking that their vote is worth more, hence making them more cash monies. It is a joke though, Rachel was one of my favourites. She was one of the better singers and the way the announcer said 'Adedeji' was heroic. Will miss that!
BoneDog Posted 1 November 2009 Posted 1 November 2009 Louis made me laugh when he was talking about Jamie backstage, in his funny voice : "He thinks he's a rocker, but he's not a rocker, he's a pretend karaoke rocker". Harsh but true Another wrong judges decision tonight. Lad should of gone, he's been crap non-stop. Shockin. Loved John and Edward on the stairs doing Walk This Way, was a vote winner. I'm thinking of booking them to do a show at me Mrs' 30th party.
FilboFox Posted 2 November 2009 Author Posted 2 November 2009 Deary me... Lloyd really isn't that good, gets through every week on his looks and in the end, probably deserved to be in the bottom two, to see Rachel go over him though is nothing short of a disgrace. How can Simon Cowell sit there claiming to be one of the best in the business and yet when faced with the easiest choice of the entire season so far, decide to take it to the public vote!?! Yes, Rachel's been in the bottom two twice before and clearly isn't clicking with the public, but the simple fact of the matter is is that she is a MUCH better singer than Lloyd and really should have been saved. The competition has lost one of it's best and more quirky voices tonight. As for the others, well Danyl is a lucky man... I expected him to get the votes to save him though as more people will have voted for him for the criticism that he got last week and this one, yet once again, he was poor and hopefully he'll be gone soon as people don't like him. Afro doesn't seem to be liked either... I thought he would have been but I completely agree with what Louis says about him. He's a pub singer who can sing one type of song and struggles to adapt. Olly seems to have a massive fan-base... though for the life of me I can't see why... he's not that good looking, not that good a singer and seems very cocky when strutting around on stage... and I don't care what he said in the Xtra Factor, he was clearly thinking he was safe and is getting too big for his boots. The twins... well, what can you say about those tw*ts? They are getting voted for by the people who like to see the whole competition be a laughing stock and fair enough if that's what they want to do, but seriously, enough is enough... they are dreadful, can't sing, can't dance, are horridly full of themselves and actually seem to think they deserve to be there!?! Lucie annoys me slightly... yes she is a good singer but she's got a very childish singing style which came out a lot in the Guns 'n' Roses song this weekend. At the moment I'm not sure if I think she'll do well or not as it's rather grating to have to listen to her almost whining at times. Stacie is another who I thought would really be liked but she seems to have her haters out there too. I still think she's great, has a really strong voice and given the right songs is one of the best on this show. Whether or not her lack of movement will play against her, who knows, but she doesn't deserve to go for a long time yet. And then there was Joe. My pick to win the whole competition. I think he's sneaking under the radar somewhat as everyone is talking about the twins and Danyl who both have hate campaigns going against them and then the other big names who are favourites to do well like Olly, Afro, Stacie and Lucie. Him being able to just keep on getting through without ruffling feathers is a really good thing but I have to say, he's the most consistent singer, has a great voice, can sing any type of song and looks the complete package. I'd be very surprised if he went out before the final.
J.Lisemore Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 Hope Lloyd goes next week, the boy really can't sing. Soar throat or no soar throat, he is shocking.
Uncle Albert Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 Lloyd is a very poor singer and shouldnt be in - I dont know why Simon kept that him in. If he has a sore throat what is the point in keeping him in? Them twins really do need to go now - its past the point of being funny.
Joe. Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 This programme is becoming an absolute farce. They might as well just re-name it marketability factor. John and Edward shouldn't even be in the competition; yes they might make it one day on television but this is a singing competition. Lloyd should clearly have gone home given that he's now the weakest of the bunch behind the twins.

But it's also about entertainment value, John and Edward won't make the final, they are being put through purely for entertainment value at this stage, and currently are the only act worth watching. The actual singers will continue to improve as the competition goes on, i don't think the public are stupid, when it gets to the important stages of the competition, Semi-Final/Final, the actual singers will be fantastic by then and John and Edward will be gone. But at the moment, none of the singers are that good, and none as entertaining as John and Edward.

maddog Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Alexandra Burke has just done a poor job of miming her entire song on the paul o grady show. Then Peter Andre (guest presenting) said "you have to admit this women's live vocals are amazing" You total willy puller Peter, she mimed the whole thing
