Here we go again...

Sorry Babylon but as the Beckford one isn't going to happen I thoght we'd better have something to pass the day.

Actually the source for this is someone with contacts within the club, although that may of course mean fook all.

And for crossword lovers NO that doesn't mean it is knowitall

Jesus christ, we're not getting David Nugent for £1m. lol

I don't think you've had a positive reaction to any of the rumours yet Joe, either you don't rate them or you think they're too expensive or the rumour is plain wrong. You're right on most of them of course.

But who do you think we should get?

What division

How much

I'm not having a pop at you posting it... more the 35 pages that will follow!!! :D

100% percent fox worked for Radio Leicester so does get some info. Dunno about the guy who posted Nugent though.

That doesn't sound at all like a set of clues to a specific player, that sounds like the policy. The "few irons in the fire" probably just means enquiring to see if any players meet the criteria.

Been saying for ages we cannot afford to punt millions on an unproven striker. That and Nigel's unoubted ability to get people playing, and you have a recipe perfect for a failed prem striker to drop down and restore some confidence. Not a bad plan.

Spot on.

Both Nugent and Healy need to reignite their careers and would have a real point to prove. Both are proven at this level and their personal hunger coupled with the self-belief that Pearson instills into his players would make either a good buy.

Could David Nugent be on the radar after falling out with team mates at Portsmouth?
Someone on Bentleys has just stated that it is Nugent

lol confirmed in 14 minutes

Don't think we'd ever get Nugent, a lower Prem team like Stoke/Hull would snap him up imo.

Why don't you just lock it babs. There is no source and is just another striker wish list.

Perhaps becaause Babylon knows who the source is and has said that he does get info.

The Nugent rumour is the unsourced one.

As for how much someone will except, well we paid 1.6m for the dud, I'd happily see the twat walk away for 300k and us saving 50% of his salary.

Fair enough I wasn't to know he knew the poster but you can't blame me as from my view it looks like someone has posted a rumour on another site which has ended up on here. whats to stop me from doing the same on here and it ending up on tb as fact. :dunno:
