Nugent resisted every attempt az Redknapp to offload him. He must surely think he's got every chance of playing under Hart than he ever had under Harry. He won't leave Pompey. He played 25mins for Blackburn against Man City the other night (and took out Tevez) so that should tell you something. I was told by his father-in-law and i know he is his relation as i got my Argyle-Arsenal ticket off Gallagher and went with the said in-law. It is going to be Gally announced tomorrow, suprised it wasn't announced today. Permanent signing. Southern Fox Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 does anyone not agree with me that all these strikers that have been named are not really what we need. we need a back up to Steve Howard. A big hit man. Someone that can hold a ball up etc we dont have that in the squad right now and when Howard doesnt play - we struggle A Nugent, Gallagher etc are great players and would benefit the squad but if I was NP I would be looking in the market for a big fella
