Wolfsburg look pretty poor, some of them don't even look interested.

I know, they don't look like scoring at the moment. Doesn't look good between Dzeko and Grafite up top for them, neither seem to know what the other's doing tonight.

I'd be surprised if Fulham didn't do this now, but we all know what this game's like...

It really would be superb if they can knock these out though. CSKA Sofia, Basle, Shaktar, Juventus and hopefully soon to be Wolfsburg; all reputable teams to have fallen under the sword of them so far this campaign. What a competition it's been for Fulham this year, whatever happens from now on.

This Fulham run's all too similar to the Middlesborough run a few years back, greatly unexpected, brilliant comebacks, and it just carries on.

Let's hope it doesn't end in the same fashion, should they make the final.

Massive performance from Fulham, they deserved that. Zamora was once again in fine form, he must have a genuine shout at Capello's next squad if he keeps playing like this. Fabio's already said he'll pick players in form, why not?

Great result for Fulham. They played pretty well throughout. Zamora's goal was class, lovely bit of skill.

I am sure Fernando Torres never in his wildest dreams thought he would be playing against his beloved Atleti in the Uefa Cup and while it is not his level it certainly is Liverpool's. :P

Edit: Fulham have done so well and what an achievement it would be if they could win it, kudos Mr Hodgson.

I know Torres played for Atl. Madrid, and fans had an affinity towards him, but is Liverpool not his 'beloved' club, having genuinely supported them as a kid.

Yeah you're right but I refuse to believe it. ;)

at the start of the season me and my mates said we'd go on a trip to whoever won the Europa league, and it couldnt be a English team, it would be the losing finalist we went to if so. Dunno how we decide if its an all English final where we go..Madrid or Hamburg here we come tho.

If Liverpool go on and win it it'll be an absolute farce.

Why would it? Because they came out of the Champions League?

Big respect to Fulham and Big Woy, this has been a brilliant effort by them, to beat Juve was a massive achievement but then to go and beat the German Champions in their own back yard 1-0 is bloody brilliant. Still don't think Zamora is good enough to go to the World Cup but thats a different debate for another day.

Liverpool weren't that good last night but to still beat a good Benfica team 4-1 is another good effort, Torres infront of goal is deadly. Pretty pleased for Lucas as well because he takes a lot of stick and he isnt the greatest but he took his goal really well last night. Athletico in the next round will be just as difficult as Benfica but I think Liverpool will go through and the second leg being at Anfield always helps, Torres will get a great reception in Madrid and I cant wait to see his performance at Anfield in the return leg.

Why that Di Amaria is Benfica I will never know, good player that lad.

But you still would of wanted Wolfsburg to have made it through if they werent drawn against Fulham?

Why would I? They came through the same route. I hope Fulham win it.

A very interesting debate too.

Can't help noticing that his meteoric return to prominence eerily coincided with all that stick he was getting from his own fans. He gives me the impression that he wants to score simply to 'stick one up 'em' (notice how his celebration consists only of a scowl). Think he's missing a trick here - Fulham's 'Ultras' have never barracked him (just as they were always 'there' when Fulham were shite).

Hate to say this Bobby Zee, but it appears that the abuse has worked and that you deserved it. All that flattery and manager mollycoddling during your Bristol Rovers/ Brighton days clearly went to your oversized head. It took some fickle Cottage thicko's to help you get back in touch with your anger.

Maybe there's hope still for Michael Owen?
