Tommeh Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 28th November 3PM Great away end. Usually decent prices. prefect 2k allocation. £5 train. Really looking forward to this. Was superb there last season.
SamL Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 I'm always a fan of Scunny away. My last two visits have been pretty decent, let's hope this one will be just as good. Hopefully it's not as cold as the previous two years though.
dimmerchant Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Where can you get train tickets for a fiver from? £29 on trainline from Loughborough.

Jiggers the Fox Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Loved this last year! Was crowdsurfed 4 rows when we bagged the winner! and the 'we'll be top by 5 o clock' chants were brilliant
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 2 awa wins in a row Forest and Scunny! Cant wait for either of them. Absolutely love away days.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Couldn't make this last season so am all over this one. What's the easiest way up to Scunny from Leicester? Is Fox Travel my best option or is train travel not as much of a ballache as I expect?
Fox You Forest Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Couldn't make this last season so am all over this one. I'm in the same boat. Must be decent if it get a thumbs up from Tommeh.
Muz Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Glanford Park is ****ing quality. Frankie & Benny's some other pub , KFC and McDonalds all smack bang outside. And its only 30 mins down the road from my gaff
Alexikokopops Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Having been to Glanford Park since I watched Lincoln play there in the 2003 Div 3 play-off semi. Simon Yeo 86th minute, 1-0, 6-3 aggregate, see ya bye Scunny. Making the trip this year, it's a good excuse to go visit the parents in Lincoln.

Sods Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 Yeah should be making the trip, in that side stand last year was quality.
Corky Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 Thoroughly enjoyed my trip there last season, up for it again.
AoWW Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 I'd pretty much talked myself out of this one. But I had a great time there last year (even if the snow was dreadful on the way back to mine, and it was fooking freezing!) and now I really want to go again. Decisions, decisions...

I thought for years that Steve Fletcher (the housewives' favourite) scored a hat-trick for Bournemouth in the play-off final after that before realising that Carl Fletcher got two of them!
lou Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 Il be there... nice visit to the inlaws combined, drop the rest of the family off there and me go to the game! Love this ground!

Fox92 Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Hmmm Plymouth to Scunny.. ? Fly instead of driving?
AoWW Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Hmmm Plymouth to Scunny..? Can you not ask the Navy to sail up the Humber and drop you off near Scunny? Can't be that much of an imposition, surely?
