Hitesh Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I'll blame the Mrs - Most things are usually her fault anyway so one more thing won't matter. Yup! This. Indeed! Whoops - thought you meant Davids' Mrs, not yours! Honestly, I don't know your Mrs!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 October 2009 Author Posted 28 October 2009 The longer this goes on,the older he gets!!! Maybe EdDa is like a fine wine, the older he is, the better he gets. It'll be sorted by the end of this week, it simply has to be, it won't and can't drag on for much longer than it is doing... On another note, it's ONE WHOLE WEEK since I broke the news on here... it's fair to say it got a few more responses than I was expecting
Collymore Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I do think he would be good to have around the club even if he doesn't play. Lets face it, If I was someone like Beckford who had an offer from both Leicester and QPR, he'd probably have no reason to choose us at the moment (because not everyone shares our love for Leicester) but knowing you'd be around Davids would be a massive subconscious sway in my opinion. If he comes, I say get Gradel back and play Davids, Gradel and Gallagher in a line of 3 behind Fryatt! The amount of skill and talent would be enough to burst water mains. When people ask me "where do you want to play?" at Sunday league level, I always think "well at this level i could slot in anywhere to be honest" Would be the same with Davids, he's got so much ability he'd do a job anywhere for us. It was like Collymore, you could have played him anywhere across midfield/wings/etc and he'd still be class

Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 October 2009 Author Posted 28 October 2009 Ian Holloway: "Paul Furlong is like a fine wine, he gets better with age" Good Ollie comment from yourself I retract my comment and hereby issue a full apology to Edgar Davids, his family, his friends, Leicester City FC and all readers of Foxes Talk Though, I do have Ian holloway's stunning good looks, so maybe I could pass for him...
Collymore Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Maybe we could get Collymore back? He's only 38 or 39 I think. He's probably got 3 or 4 seasons left at the top level. I'd be looking to offer a 7 year contract for high championship low premiership standard.
Ric Flair Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 He's only 38 or 39 I think. He's probably got 3 or 4 seasons left at the top level. I'd be looking to offer a 7 year contract for high championship low premiership standard. Agreed. Too easy.

Tommy G Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Even if he doesn't come we have still had the ability to almost sign what was a world class midfielder. Can only work wonders for the future I guess..
SMX11 Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Whats the latest news? Apparently we gave him a 24hour deadline according to the Mail (i think)

AoWW Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Im glad I chose Tunch to keep as a pet... hes not at all lazy and does all my house work for me while Im at work I think I need to get myself a pet footballer. A non-lazy, housework-loving, chef-type one.

Daggers Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 He's still sleeping in my spare room, and the cooked breakfast I made for him is getting cold. He is one lazy mofo. That's what comes of living in a big house - he'll have got lost somewhere between the conservatory and the library. Send the butler to find him.
