StanSP Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 I don't like the sound of a deadline (if true)Might put Davids right off. My first thoughts too
AjcW Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 I tell you what maddog and flanimal will be like Bridgend kids in peak season if this deal doesn't got through
Matt Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 A deadline is exactly what is needed, from the sources we have read and heard this deal is stalling at Davids end, he seems to be fucking us about abit, if he is already indecisive about the offer we have gave him and indecisive about wanting to play for us, it's a warning sign of my fear of him coming in with a dive/prima dona attitude, and if that's the case I don't want him. If we get him, we get him, if we don't, we don't however many times we discuss it or go over it, nothing we say will make any difference, when I first heard about it I was quite excited, the more this goes on, i'm getting bored and i'm going off the idea though. A deadline is what is needed.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Errm, it's the the Mirror? Let's not read too much into it and get all emotional. 'Played Mandaric for setting a deadline and stop this from dragging on.
Brainy Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 i think i'm the only one that isn't too bothered about this.
lildave3 Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Can someone change the time on the board?I got worried that the posts were from yesterday and nothing had happened today (if you know what I mean!) If you go into My Controls, then Board Settings, you can change it yourself.
Matt Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 i think i'm the only one that isn't too bothered about this. As I said just in my post, at the start when I first saw all this I was quite excited, but now the more it drags on the less interested, bothered I am getting.
Smerklo Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I suppose we've got to take a step back and think if we get him then it's a bonus, but if we don't, we haven't lost anything
Fosse Boy Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I'd rather the County got Matthew Hoggard than City got Davids if I'm to be brutally honest.
StanSP Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I suppose we've got to take a step back and think if we get him then it's a bonus, but if we don't, we haven't lost anything True. Must say, if he doesn't sign, just a glance at your avatar/sig will cheer me up a bit
iancognito Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I'd rather the County got Matthew Hoggard than City got Davids if I'm to be brutally honest. Good call. I'd be more bothered as well if County didn't get Hoggard than if we didn't get Davids. So much could go wrong bringing in a guy like him, it's a helluva risk.
crazylegs1984 Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 lmao bare :crylaugh:z u no dat geeza us lesta bois are gunna put our colours on when iz e gunna put his name on the contract like when i go put my name dwn at the dole centre when i getz my giro init well ope he does it soon bcus my g/f charmaine well fancys him and tinks hes tick you get me!!!
Jordan Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 The Mirror might be going overboard with their "deadline" headline. Milan just said he's made the offer and Davids has a day to respond... that response could be a yes, a no, a counteroffer... if Milan had said, "We've made an offer to Davids, and if he doesn't accept within 24 hours, he can fook off," then that'd be a deadline. Wait, why the hell am I splitting hairs with this anyway? You know what, I just want this to end. Now. Whether he comes or not, I just want this damned thread to close.
bluebeau Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 i think i'm the only one that isn't too bothered about this. You're not alone,I don't give a fook to be honest. If my memory serves me right, he didn't do much at Spurs, & couldn't get a start in many games. I don't see him as a 'Leicester City' type of player.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 It worries me that the longer this saga goes on the more it has fook up written all over it. I hope if he is showing any doubt then we pull the plug now. Do not need anybody at the club who doesn't particularly want to be there no matter what their name is.
StanSP Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Who would you blame if the deal doesn't go through? Mandy, Pearson or Davids?
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Who would you blame if the deal doesn't go through? Mandy, Pearson or Davids? I'll blame the Mrs - Most things are usually her fault anyway so one more thing won't matter.
Babylon Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Who would you blame if the deal doesn't go through? Mandy, Pearson or Davids? Why blame anyone? If someone doesn't want to come, blame doesn't have to be attached to it.
morris1234 Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Why blame anyone? If someone doesn't want to come, blame doesn't have to be attached to it. the boogie!
