martinrowland Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 Anyone else see the leicester fan with bloody all over his head and top? a bottle also crashed just infront of me.
Tommeh Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Didn't see anything like that but the policing was atrocious. I was grabbed by the throat by a pig for quite being barged into by a QPR fan and turned around suddenly thinking I was going to react. Cannot spolil an incredible night however, just on the tube approaching stanmore and absolutely buzzing...You Bluuuuuuuze

Fosse Boy Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 The rozzers were acting like utter cunts after the game. Bullying innocent celebrating fans, pushing people for nothing. Saw five or six of them gang up on one guy and chuck him in a riot van. Almost ruined the sweet taste of victory. Glad me and my mate managed to get to White City tube without too much hassle. There were a few QPR ****** and Leicester wannabes giving it large by the pub near the ground, and the guy who was walking in front of me even got hit with a bit of a cob. I also heard rumours from my QPR mate that some trouble flared up in Shepherd's Bush before the game, but it was also supposed to be happening down the road from the pub we were in and I couldn't see any signs of aggro. That said there were a few of the Stone Island brigade hanging out just along from Shepherd's Bush tube so who knows?
James. Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Bollocks to anyone causing trouble. Tonight was about football, nothing else.

Major kudos in that situation goes to Andy "Brumdesliga" (yes, that is a deliberate ' m ' ) Hunt for preventing me wading in and doing something I'd obviously later regret. Don't think me attempting to grab the coppers' arm impressed him much. It was almost another Trent Bridge moment. ****. Chief Inspector Simpson of the Metropolitan Police, you are a Grade A ****ing flangeface. I bet you were bullied at school you stupid sack of shit.

muffin Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Anyone else see the leicester fan with bloody all over his head and top?a bottle also crashed just infront of me. Yer well some City "Supporter" just go out looking for trouble at away games, and a win to them is just the cherry on the cake.

Saw five or six of them gang up on one guy and chuck him in a riot van. Don't get me started on coppers, I got chucked in a riot van once when my mate was arguing with one of them and I shouted "Don't argue with him, you'll only make it worse" to my mate and one of them put me up against a wall and chucked me into the van and I got arrested

That said there were a few of the Stone Island brigade hanging out just along from Shepherd's Bush tube so who knows? We saw The Met being total twats to fans too walking away from the ground, like you say 5-6 of them smacking one person around, one bloke they were nicking looked quite old and was screaming for help, it was not pleasant. My QPR fan colleague told me to not look and keep walking as theyre used to the coppers being arseholes apparently they will start on you for staring!

My QPR fan colleague told me to not look and keep walking as theyre used to the coppers being arseholes apparently they will start on you for staring! Yeah, reckon I saw that. The poor bloke looked really distressed. Absolute bullies. They also had a row with a group of lads in front of us inside the ground, apparently one of them was drinking in the stand (though I didn't see any signs of this). How hard would it have been to confiscate his beer, have a quick word about ground regs and then fuck off? But no, three of them had to argue with these lads for a good five minutes and disrupt the view and the enjoyment of everyone around us.
martyn Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Anyone else see that youngish, long haired QPR fan shouting about all Leicester fans being on the dole and being "dirty northerners" whilst walking to the tube. Loved it when 5 or 6 cops pinned him against the wall.

Loved it when 5 or 6 cops pinned him against the wall. To be fair that seems like a bit of an overreaction on the part of the coppers...
martyn Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Not disputing that it was probably an overreaction, but having to walk alongside such a moron spouting shite for 5 minutes meant no sympathy was coming from my direction.
sbfox Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Anyone see the spitters coming down from above us? I didn't, but the missus said there was a load of it for most of the match?
lou Posted 31 October 2009 Posted 31 October 2009 Anyone see the spitters coming down from above us? I didn't, but the missus said there was a load of it for most of the match? We were on row C to the left of the goal and didnt notice any, thank God. Its something I keep an eye out for when theyre's home fans above us to be honest.
