Samilktray Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 We'll piss our group. USA, Algeria and Slovenia? Lovely.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 I expect the community of Foxestalk to help me wind up Father Ted (wishful thinking)
purpleronnie Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Just headed off to the Yank forums (already had emails), they're pretty happy with the draw they see us as the biggest rival in the group and are pretty confident, they know the english game very well and see englands weakness as being our predictable playing style. It will be our toughest match, on their day they are a very good side, lets just hope they have a bad day and we'll stuff em.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Almost the perfect group for England really, only North Korea or New Zealand being drawn out of the hat would have made it any better. With all due respect to Algeria or Slovenia, they were arguably the teams the seeds would have wanted to meet in their pots. Germany being drawn in the group of death makes a nice change too and Brazil vs North Korea will surely result in a cricket score. Only downside is that the second round will be tough whether we win the group or not with Group D being on our side of the draw. Still, a decent draw and we don't look to be up against it from the start as we did in 2002.
The Doctor Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 I expect the community of Foxestalk to help me wind up Father Ted (wishful thinking) I'm in. Of course i'll only have limited time between taunting the english.
Samilktray Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 North Korea, Honduras and Chile will be the unexpected teams to look out for

Our defence? And just to clarify if England lose to the USA, you're not going to become a USA fan all of a sudden are you?
BoneDog Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Can't believe we gotta wait 6 months for this to start. Not been so excited since Janet Jacksons nipple slip
