Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Cant they relegate them now and save us from having to visit that fecking shithole again? Cant say Im surprised or bothered After this season we wont be visiting that shithole for a long, long, long time. ''We'll never you play you again!"
RowlattsFox Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Fergie junior will get a new job easily enough, at this level probably as well even if its just on reputation alone. Sheffield United potentially. Can't see who Peterboro can appoint, it will have to be a manager from League 1 or 2 because I can't see a bigger name going there, unless Fry feels he can tempt Southgate.
Tommeh Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Their pitching 2 divisions above their weight, not exactly disgracing themselves and I'd say have a decent chance of survival. Tinpot idiots.
StanSP Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/8351399.stm Bye bye
davieG Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 October 2009 Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony says boss Darren Ferguson will retain his full backing as long as the team remain committed on the pitch.Posh have taken just seven points from their 11 league matches this season. He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Of course I will give Darren time to turn things around. As long as the endeavour is there we'll be alright. "Even if the worst was to happen and we get relegated, we'd have a manager who knows how to get out of League One."
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 So it is confirmed. They are doomed now, and would love to see John Barnes there.
Huuuuuume Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 OK, they are bottom of Championship but back to back promotions... Don't really like him but got respect for a manager like him. Am I the only one a tad shocled by this? Where will he go now? Liverpool?? Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/8351399.stm

Guest Bilo Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 So far as Ferguson is concerned, I wouldn't be surprised to see him roll up at Portman Road if and when Keane gets the sack.
davieG Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 So far as Ferguson is concerned, I wouldn't be surprised to see him roll up at Portman Road if and when Keane gets the sack. In the words of his ex-employer he knows how to get out of League 1
Guest Bilo Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 In the words of his ex-employer he knows how to get out of League 1 East Anglia derby in League One would be most amusing I admit.
Guppy Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Peter Taylor, the former Leicester City and England Under-21 manager, is among the candidates to replace Ferguson, who is believed to have learnt of his dismissal at a meeting with Darragh MacAnthony, the chairman, at London Road yesterday. Taylor left Wycombe Wanderers last month, having guided them to promotion from League Two last season.
Lovejoy Posted 9 November 2009 Posted 9 November 2009 Peterborough are a nasty little club who's chairman and fans think they're a lot bigger than they really are. Whoever gets the gig, I hope they go down.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 November 2009 Posted 10 November 2009 I will laugh like a schoolgirl on a cocktail of WKD and top grade skunk if Taylor gets the Peterborough job.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 November 2009 Posted 10 November 2009 Peterborough are a nasty little club who's chairman and fans think they're a lot bigger than they really are. Whoever gets the gig, I hope they go down. This. I think they'll go down regardless of manager.
