THE MAGICIAN Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 OK, yeah we are all chuffed that we won today and Kingy scored BUT, I for one don't feel stupid saying he aint good enough, just because he scored a couple of goals today will NOT smoke screen what a SHIT player he is. Infact I feel for the people who have quickly changed there opinion on one game, for me I can't even remember him playing in 5 of the last six games, having said that its all about opinions and that is mine. Just happy we have got a win that we needed so badly. Off topic, for the record I thought Steve Howard was immense first half, WELL DONE HIM....
The Doctor Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 OK, yeah we are all chuffed that we won today and Kingy scored BUT, I for one don't feel stupid saying he aint good enough, just because he scored a couple of goals today will NOT smoke screen what a SHIT player he is. harsh. I still don't think he's quite at Championship standard yet but i wouldn't say he's far off or that he's a shit player.
moseeds Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 I think he is a very good player technically but is not suited to o ur teams style of play which fluctuates wildly between pass n move and general long ball. When we do play "good football" Andy King generally shines like today. When we're not he looks absent from the team.
lcfcmad2005 Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 well hes proved everyone wrong today with 2 goals he must be reading this
Daggers Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 OK, yeah we are all chuffed that we won today and Kingy scored BUT, I for one don't feel stupid saying he aint good enough, just because he scored a couple of goals today will NOT smoke screen what a SHIT player he is. You are an imbecile.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 after seeing his goals on footy league show. Its showed me how good his goals were. He's definately good enough
MikeyT Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Yes i believe he is good enough, and yesterdays performance against Wednseday kind of shows that. He is still very young too and should only get better and better.
willchafer Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 i think the shef wed. match shows that we need to push him forward more he made two clean finishes and deserves a chance in a more attacking role.
C-man Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 He would have had a hat-trick if Fryatt wasn't so greedy where he hit the post. King was unmarked in the middle!
maddog Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 2 goals yesterday but that doesn't suddenly mean he's good enough for this League, nor does it mean he's still not good enough for this League.
davieG Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Even without the goals I thought he was the most consistent midfielder yesterday as Oakley and Wellens continued to give the ball away even when not under pressure.
C-man Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 2 goals yesterday but that doesn't suddenly mean he's good enough for this League, nor does it mean he's still not good enough for this League. Jesus I've just reached enlightenment.
Vlad The Impaler Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 2 goals yesterday but that doesn't suddenly mean he's good enough for this League, nor does it mean he's still not good enough for this League. What Does Then?
acooling08 Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 I voted no because he is to inconsistent. I usually never even notice him when he plays except for his rare great days (like against Wednesday).
Corky Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 2 goals yesterday but that doesn't suddenly mean he's good enough for this League, nor does it mean he's still not good enough for this League. So what is he then? Good enough or not?
