Maybes Posted 20 December 2009 Author Posted 20 December 2009 Im not taking any of that crap off Risdale, complete tosh. I saw on the football league show how peterborough had tubs of fire raised above the pitch to get their game on
Tommeh Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Least it was a better away than Forest. And we saw Tunchev at Leicester station.
davieG Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Least it was a better away than Forest. And we saw Tunchev at Leicester station. Was he still on crutches?
Tommeh Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Was he still on crutches? Nah he seemed fine. Was with his misses, no idea where they were off. I'd imagine X-mas shopping, Brum possibly.
J.Lisemore Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Embarrassing. Spent alot of money to get the train there and back and i'm not going to get that money back because of Cardiff City's shocking stadium. Although i complained about the postponement at the Cardiff ticket office, i got to see the pitch for itself...and just as i thought, it wasnt even that bad. Fuming.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 They do in the Premiership.....but simply not workable for the likes of Scunny and P'boro to be expected to stump up. I dont mean every team in the league, I mean every team that has moved into a new ground must have undersoil heating. That is very embarrassing for Cardiff if Newport can get a game on.
Karljohn Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Ridsdale = willy puller. This is a man who claimed £20 a month for looking after goldfish at Leeds.
Tevez Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Brand new stadium and under soil heating "wasn't" working? Hmmmmm.....
stez Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Silly PC liberals like you are so obsessed with rationalising everything that you cannot accept that bad things happen often by design rather than by accident. I would sooner be called a conspiracy theorist than be called naive or gullible.Anyone who believes that the postponement of your fixture was the result of incompetence also must accept that Ridsdale's (absurd) comments were made in good faith. You cannot have it both ways. A) who said that was aimed at you? B) how do you know i'm a liberal, when you know nothing about me, or even who i am. and C) shut up
st.ives blue Posted 20 December 2009 Posted 20 December 2009 Got to cardiff on friday, i travelled 220 miles from cornwall, met friends in the pub who informed me from a reliable source within cardiff city that the game was 70% off, that was at 6.30 friday night absolute shambles.

I really feel for you! Will you go to the replay?
ozleicester Posted 21 December 2009 Posted 21 December 2009 Feel for the great fans who travelled, hats off to you all. However i think weve missed the thrill factor of this... the 12 hours of, edge of the seat excitement, Will they cancel or wont they? Are the Welsh really so backward, that they havent figured out the on/off switch? Will Risdale lie through his teeth? etc I think its time we forgot football and just began supporting or betting on, the incompetence of chairmen, clubs and players
Radovan's Caravan Posted 21 December 2009 Posted 21 December 2009 A) who said that was aimed at you?B) how do you know i'm a liberal, when you know nothing about me, or even who i am. and C) shut up If not me. then who was the target of your acerbic witlessness (by the way the 'it was just a rhetorical remark' routine won't wash with me)? In my experience, contemporary liberals/leftists tend to use the idiom 'conspiracy theory' pejoratively against their ideological opponents more frequently and readily than any other grouping. With alternative thinkers like that who needs the establishment? You have condemned yourself out of your own mouth you liberal humbugger...
maddog Posted 21 December 2009 Posted 21 December 2009 Thats what happens when someone else does the optimeter, the game is called off. Let it never happen again shed.
