Corky Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 I understand what people are saying however, I don't buy into this 2 games called off will give us a break rest the players, e.t.c, all it does is add games in later in the season, possibly having to play both of these games within the same month? All it's going to do is tire the players later in the season, a potentially more important time in the season. Agreed. We have enough midweek matches scheduled already, with potential cup replays added in.
Edmund Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 I never said you did. So why quote me and then make a point of it
The Livingston Fox Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Spent £60 on the train fare to Cardiff and knew the risk of the game being off and got three quarters there before being told.Spent £38 on train fare yesterday and no warning of the game being in jeopardy(which annoys me most) wasnt best pleased when told 4 stops from Doncaster. They say things come in threes(5 hour train journey awaits me to Swansea on the 16th Jan.
Guest Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 So why quote me and then make a point of it Don't be so frigging paranoid. You mentioned it, it's called 'making conversation', god, what would you do if you ever made it to the pub? Punch someone?
Matt Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Didn't think it was worthy of a new thread so i'll just post it in here; So when are our 2 postponed matches going to be re-arranged by the F.L/2 Clubs? I noticed on SSN today the game Walsall had called off yesterday has already been re-arranged, while we're waiting for the re-arrangment on 2 games.

Watched a great film........ Opps am I chatting shit? Sorry I was just 'making conversation' In all seriousness I would expect the games to be replayed over the next two months and no later.

I suspect clubs are waiting to see what happens on Saturday.

I'm guessing they've rearranged it for the midweek of the FA Cup 3rd round replays.
Guest Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 That would have worked better if you'd left it 4 days, maybe even 4 hours without a response, not four minutes.
Webbo Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 you really are getting desperate now. It's only the internet mate. Nothing said on here makes a scrap of difference to anything. Try not to take things personally.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Chill people. Make love not war and all that shit.
lou Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Chill people. Make love not war and all that shit. Im not sure either of them is ready for that sort of relationship to be honest
Guest Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 you really are getting desperate now. If that's what floats your boat, so be it, but I ain't that sort of girl.
Matt Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Without trying to enter this argument, I thought Edmund Crouchback was a member who was in the 'clique' who had just changed his name, as seems the 'in thing' every now and again - And then it take me weeks to work out who has change their names to what is this right and there is a in 'clique' fight/argument or is Edmund Crouchback not friendly with Lisa anyway/not 'in clique'? Edmund Crouchback must have changed his name because I know he hasn't posted 4,000+ under that name, so who was he previous?

C-man Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 'Clique' must be the most overused and irritating word on the internet. If you know someone in person, you are more likely to respond to their post, and even more likely to respond in a positive manner. Who the fuck cares anyway?
Maybes Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 There were 3 of us on the way to this in the car this morning. Left home at 10:30am still trying to ring the ticket office on the hands free in the car. Just got past J21 (bloody ticket office didn't pick up the phone for 50 minutes) & heard it was cancelled. Stopped off at Leicester services & took a look on the net to see what other local games were on. Decided to go & watch Stoke vs. Birmingham instead, seeing as we'd all made the effort to go out. Got some tickets, drove to Stoke & enjoyed a fairly uneventful yet loud Premiership game. Not a wasted day out by any means, but i'd rather have seen Leicester play. Poor show from Doncaster, poor, poor show. Please tell me you didnt pay £34 to go and see it?
Rich Fox Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Please tell me you didnt pay £34 to go and see it? Why would a Leicester fan want to pay to watch Stoke v brum?
