eye666 Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 From a selfish point of view its about £4 on the train to Doncaster from Sheffield. Over 2000 of us going today, bet there'll be less than 1500 at the rearranged game. With Blackpool-Wednesday off too, the lowest we can drop to is 6th with 2 games in hand Rather the game on, get the points in the bag than have games in hand.
Karljohn Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Cardiff, Doncaster, Palace, Bristol City and Barnsley all midweek away days....unless we get knocked out of the cup and manage to re-arrange on 4th/5th round dates. My next awayday looks like Blackpool in Feb, had a peek at Sheff Wed website who play Blackpool and the tangerines appear to be wanting £24.50 a ticket! presumably in that subbuteo stand with no roof...
Webbo Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Good job I decided to check when I went to pick someone up. When I got back the missus and kids had already left to go shopping. Looks like I'm on my own all day now.
Ashley Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Fu*cking joke. I only made it to glenfield in the car so it wasnt that bad still not happy tho

South Stand should be finished by then at Blackpool. Well they were hoping so. So we could be housed under cover.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 There are no (non-swear words) to describe the utter annoyance, anger and frustration I am feeling right now. Fvcking hell, will we ever play another fvucking away game? It begs the question as to how we played Walsall last season in snow week, if the referees are too sensitive for a bit of frozen pitch
C-man Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Rather the game on, get the points in the bag than have games in hand. Yeah I definitely agree but it still sounds good!
Koke Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Rather the game on, get the points in the bag than have games in hand. Agree. I could see us winning this game as well. Just had that feeling, really. Fingers crossed that other results go our way today. Let's hope those sky blue cunts can get something at Forest. And hopefully Posh will beat Cardiff. Fixture congestion will fuck us up in January & February. And if we progress in the cup we gonna have loads of midweek games. On the bright side, at least we can get our injured defenders back for Ipswich in two weeks time.
Alexikokopops Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 I don't get to go to many games. Last two games I had tickets for were Cardiff and Doncaster. I won't be able to make the re-scheduled matches. Frustrating.
Bluefoxtim Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Absolutely RIDICULOUS. How long have they had to prepare for the game?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Oh and also, we were going to be the facking main game on the FL Show tonight on BBC1, giving us a good 10 minutes of highlights, now we'll get 30 seconds on East Midlands Today after the midweek re-arrangement. Holy Fvcking Jesus
Ultra Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Once again, City fans face extra inconvenience & expense because a Mickey Mouse club can't be bothered to arrange pitch heating. Good job I only bought a train ticket as far as Derby. And at least Waghorn, Berner and maybe Tunchev will be available for the rearranged match.

I remember parking the car and skating to the Bescot.

On the bright side, at least we can get our injured defenders back for Ipswich in two weeks time. That's true but with key players returning from injury and suspension (Hobbs, Berner, Waghorn, possibly Tunchev) and the expected couple of loan signings in January, we should have the squad to cope with it. Certainly better than Doncaster anyway. If we can't cope then it's what we've all been saying all along - that we aren't good enough to go up. It's frustrating but it's happened and we'll have to gerron with it.
Karljohn Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Interesting how Bradford, Barnsley, S****horpe, even Mansfield matches remain on....! Do they have a certain aggressive type of frost in Doncaster.
Karljohn Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 do we get our money back for tickets ? I would assume so, normally have T&Cs on the back but they can't even do that...
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Can I just state, and I think you'll agree, I'm just glad I am not... A) the person who told Pearson the game was off and B) That I am not anywhere near Mr. Pearson at this moment in time If he was annoyed at the Cardiff game, he'll be fuming now
C-man Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Once again, City fans face extra inconvenience & expense because a Mickey Mouse club can't be bothered to arrange pitch heating. Embarrassing, pathetic arrogance.
samlcfc Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Fukin wank. Cant go to a tuesday night game. Havnt been able to get to an away for ages, well pissed off
syston_fox Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 I wouldn't be so annoyed if they hadn't posted that article the other day saying that they were ready for whatever cold weather came their way. Thankfully we hadn't even left yet!
Anish Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Bollocks. Got to the stadium to get on Foxes Travel and people were walking back to their cars. At least I got a full refund on the ticket and the travel, one of the benefits of Fox Travel over the train. Won't be able to get to the re-arranged game either unless it's on a weekend. Gutted.
