syston_fox Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Seems as good as any time to play it really. Was always going to be on a Tuesday night so the sooner the better!
Bert Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 For fox sake! I hate this bastard weather, why are rearranged games always on bastard Tuesdays? Still bloody going though.... Why moan then? There's some people that won't be able to make this at all!
Guest Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Doncaster-Brentford is nailed on to be a draw now, you just know it. Especially as I have a 2.30pm finish on that day <_< If anyone wants a spare student ticket, let me know before I take Sir F's back to the ticket office. In the mean time, I have to decide on whether to drive to Nottingham then Doncaster, or train to Donneh and blag a lift back to Leicester.....
Karljohn Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 And the chances of this game taking place on a freezing cold january evening???!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 If it's the 19th my ticket will be going back, I'll be on the beach in Tel Aviv. You wouldn't drop Tel Aviv for Doncaster? Especially as I have a 2.30pm finish on that day <_<If anyone wants a spare student ticket, let me know before I take Sir F's back to the ticket office. AoWW Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 SHOTGUN. Look like you've got yourself a date, Leese.
Guest Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 SHOTGUN.Look like you've got yourself a date, Leese. I have, but not with Bilo. Beaten by PM.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I have, but not with Bilo. Beaten by PM. Balls. To the loss of potential ticket that is. Off to the TO I go then. Look like you've got yourself a date, Leese. Not sure who'd kill me first, Sir F or Mrs Bilo.
Tilley Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 I feel your pain, I have lectures until 5pm on Tuesdays next semester for a few weeks. I already missing them for Barnsley and Bristol City and now this. I'm not impressed and neither will my lecturer be! Go to your lectures then. Bristol City, Bansley and Doncaster? Hardly the most inspiring places in the world. I know what I'd rather do.
Katy Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 Why moan then? There's some people that won't be able to make this at all! Errm, because like you, I like moaning too? Go to your lectures then.Bristol City, Bansley and Doncaster? Hardly the most inspiring places in the world. I know what I'd rather do. I'd rather go to Bristol City, Barnsley and Doncaster to be honest, it's just annoying that I have to choose. Why they can't play it on a Wednesday I don't know.

lou Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 Zmogs can you give me a lift there and back too if there's room not sure what that means but yes I have room if you need a lift.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 not sure what that means but yes I have room if you need a lift. Zmogs is an expression of shock, think of 'wow' and then think 'zmogs' Let me know what time you're leaving and all that shizzle nearer the time I also live about a mile from Fosse Park, so who says I don't live close to the motorway!

Will sort it with you at a later date.

Bert Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 Errm, because like you, I like moaning too?I'd rather go to Bristol City, Barnsley and Doncaster to be honest, it's just annoying that I have to choose. Why they can't play it on a Wednesday I don't know. Bravo But 1: I moan about things worth moaning about, not being able to go to a game. And 2: I'm not inconsiderate to moan about things like this. I'm sure you'd be annoyed if you couldn't get there and someone moaned about being able to go. (Btw - I'm probably going, so i'm not saying this because I can't go) I'm sure you'll now have me down as "attacking you" and I'm sure that some sarcastic comments and attempts of wit will come out about this too, but I'm not really bothered. Funnily enough, Leicester don't play their games around your timetable. If you think going to a game is more important than lectures, well that's just beyond me. At the end of the day, you make your own decisions, but like Tilley I know what I'd rather do.

Not sure why, when I haven't posted on here for ages that you jump on the first thing I say but that's just how it is with us on here it seems. I apologise for annoying you (and that wasn't sarcasm)
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 I think it's fair enough for people to be a bit frustrated by changes to the fixture list, especially when they make the effort to go to as many games as Katy does. No-one's pretending it's the most important thing in the world but it's still annoying to have a free day at short notice and then have to make more of an effort to get to a re-arranged fixture when it's inconvenient. Having a bit of a moan is small fry compared to the fact that there will be people there who have spent time and money on a second trip to support the team. I'm not thrilled by the two Tuesday night trips and away games at Swansea and Cardiff/Bristol, four games in a row but then I doubt Nigel Pearson is either, deep down. We will all still be there so we might as well all just crack on.

lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 Fucks sake. Doubt I'll be able to get to this now, which is a massive fucking piss-take.
Granno Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 All Tuesday nights are looking doubtful for me at the moment due to late lectures, gutted seeing as I've managed to get to every away this season.
SamL Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/page/LatestNe...1926684,00.html Judging by the above link, Brentford aren't very optimistic that they'll be able to get their game with Doncaster on, meaning our game at Doncaster is unlikely to go ahead on the 19th.
