Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Donut must lead a depressing life rating the ballboys
eastendfox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 From TV thinking I'm glad I haven't travelled up from London to watch this Weale 6 - Decent enough, a few flaps aside Neilson 3 - Don't think he's as bad a player as people on here make out. Except today he was. McGivern 5 - Stuck at it, still shaky Brown 6 - Can't pass, but thought he was ok as a defender Morrison 6 - Surely should be ahead of Neilson as a right back as well Dyer 6 - When he got the ball he either looked dangerous or at least passed it to another Leicester player, which made him about the only one Wellens 3 - Didn't seem in it at all, possibly Ipswich worked out that stop Wellens and you stop us playing King 5 - Ok, but looked a bit exposed when they attacked Oakley 5 - One good tackle, a couple of good corners. Otherwise rubbish Fryatt 5 - What's he supposed to do when he gets no service at all? Howard 6 - For the goal and the header against the bar. But didn't have much joy in the air otherwise. Gallagher, Waghorn, Kermogant - weren't able to do much
Guest Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 GAME. Weale 6.5 Neilson - 3 Seriously poor today Brown - 5 Morrison - 7.5 - great performance again Mcgivern - 6 - Don't get some of the grief he's getting from RL and the low ratings on here, not the worst defender at all and made some good interceptions Oakley - 6 Wellens - 5 King - 6 - hardly noticed either centre mid today to be honest but was better Than wellens Dyer - 7 - some good runs and helped set up the goal Howard - 7 Fryatt - 6.5 Waggy - 6 - did his best despite being played out on the left Gallagher - 5 overall just a very disappointing game, don't think it helped with their goal coming so early either, meant what little atmos there wouldve been seemed to disappear into utter shock
Karljohn Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Game.... Weale 5 - Got into a couple of uneasy situations which would have been prevented had he given some orders out, too quiet, and had a few conrad logan moments! Neilson 2 - Inept, nervy, needs a long spell in the reserves or a return ticket to Scotland Brown 3 - Found the crowd more often than a blue shirt with his wayward distribution Morrison 6 - Steady McGivern 4 - I doubt Mr Mancini will be sitting down with him over contract extensions Oakley 5 - Anonymous, club captain my arse. Wellens 5 - No Guile whatsoever King 6 - Didnt do much, but didnt drop us in the brown stuff Dyer 5 - Faded in and out Fryatt 5 - Starved of good service, tried hard but didnt produce any magic Howard 7 - Unlucky with header off the line, took his goal well and worked hard Gallagher - 4 - failed to beat the first man on 3 occasions including last minute corner. Waghorn - 4 - first game for a while and looked a little off the pace
MPH Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Well if we are going to have people mentioning TV or going to the game then we should have a seperate scoring for Live streaming.... because i swear for about 20 seconds in the first half both teams stood dead still and never said a thing... poor show...
taffyfox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Right........Big fan of NP, and I mean big, but he has to bite the bullett and play wingers out wide and have the balls to play 2 out of King, Wellens and Oakley in the centre. Or play three in there and wingbacks if he wants to play all 3. Nielson simply isn't good enough..... any side that watch us ( as newcastle did today) will simply play anyone with pace on thier left side and destroy us. His passing is shit, his long throw is shit and his defending is shit. To his credit, with Oakley tucking in, he does get up and down but his quality just isn't good enough. Wellens must get frustrated as he wants to get the thig dowm and play but our back 4 just hoof it. But we are still in the play off positions and didn't lose even though we played as bad as that. Just wonder now how long it will last. Mcgivern simply aint good enough. Delivery was crap. Hopefully a bad day at the office but keep smiling......we're in the play offs ffs!!!
Mikey Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Weale - 7 Neilson - 4.5 Morrison - 7 Brown - 5 McGivern - 6 Oakley - 6 King - 6 Wellens - 5 Dyer - 6.5 Howard - 7 Fryatt - 6
Kilworthfox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 At the match Weale 9 - some class saves, kept us in it Neilson 2 - Wank-er than Brown Brown 3 - Wank Morrison 8 - Easily our best defender, the only one who can pass McGivern 4 - Oakley 4 - Again poor Wellens 5 - Not at his best but still suprised he was subbed King 5 - Not great Dyer 7 - looked dangerous good running Fryatt 7 - No Service at all, did well with what he made himself Howard 9 - won everything in the air MOTM subs: Kermorgant n/a Gallagher 7 - Looked sharp, things changed when he came on Waghorn 6 - I thought he was a striker Nigel!
ob1kanobe0 Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Weale 7 super as per usual Neilson 4 the scottish 'premier' league must be a complete shower of cats & dogs on acid. Brown 6 Morrison 7 im worried he's only got 18 months on his contract to go. McGivern 3 my local corner shop needs a paper boy. Oakley 3 some paper boy's needs assitence. Infact, each week i refer to oakley and mcgivern's performances to an afghanistan Coalition flag salesman. Wellens 5.5 taking the strain of the 2nd choice players and paper boy's takes its toll on poor wellens, but that attempted clever flick doesn't help his rating. King 6 as above but without the flick attempt. Dyer 6.5 give him the ball somewhere on the half way line and tell him to attack, attack, attack attack attack. Fryatt 6.5 did you notice macauley n co tugging fryatts shirt, tut tut. Defences are scared of Matty. Howard 7 good finish, and he got in a touch just before to give himsen the chance to shoot. Someone call a Dr, thats 3 good performances in a row. subs: Gallagher 4 HE NEEDS TO PLAY UPFRONT, OR IN A MIDFIELD FREE ATTACKING ROLE. Waghorn 4 Superman 6.5 not his fault there were 3 first team defenders out, but he is to blame for playing oakley ahead of n'guesson or gallagher.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 TV Weale 6 - One breathtaking save from the Macauley Header but was flapping at quite a few crosses. Had better games Neilson 5 - Committed, never stops trying but is crap. As for the supposed long throw Brown - 5 - Below par, For a big man was dominated quite often today. Also HOOOOOFFFF!! Morrison 7 - No nonsense defending, does all that is asked of him. McGivern 6 - Thought he was quite good defensively but ffs every cross put in by him seems to go 65 feet in the air!! Oakley 4 - Past it. Wellens 4 - Very overated and never really gets into a game in an attacking sense. Also gave the ball away too often. King 5 - Anonymous for much of the game. The fact that the ball spent most of the time in the air didn't help him. Dyer 6 - Would have given him more if they had bothered using him more rather than hoofball. Good when given the chance Howard 7 - Not his greatest game ever but scored and was probably our best player today. Fryatt 6 - Good in parts but did not get into the game enough. The hoofball played probably didn't help Subs All 5's - Didn't have any impact on the game.

Eh?
RowlattsFox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Weale -7 Neilson -4- Needs someone infront of him, so many times he lost the ball because he had to play it down the line because he had noone to pass too. He's a limited footballer so needs to keep it simple and he can't do that if he doesn't have a winger in front of him. Morrison -6 Brown -4 McGivern -5 Oakley -5 King -5 Wellens -5 Dyer -6 Howard -6 Fryatt -6

CKB Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 From TV: Weale 6 - Looked abit iffy with crosses today which worried me, probably needs to work on that abit as he's been found wanting in previous games. A good goalkeeper tho no doubt and made a good save and overall this season i have been impressed Neilson 2 - He's had many a chance to adapt and it's clear he's not good enough! Slow, kinda at fault for the goal, and 95% of the time just lumped it forward back to an Ipswich player. RB seriously needed in the window Mr Pearson! Brown 4 - Just really wasn't with it and it summed it up for me when he more or less smashed the ball outta play (was trying to pass it) and Pearson told him to calm down! I'd have subbed him and brought on Hobbs! Morrison 7 - This guy can only get better! will it be at Leicester? i hope so! From his performances lately he can't be dropped and a likely pairing of him and Hobbs has to be the future (till Tunch is back) McGivern 4 - Like Neilson gave the ball away but did play just that tad better hence the higher score! I don't think this lad is shit so the crap he is getting isn't fair imo..BUT he's gotta improve because it's not good enough in the long run! Oakley 4 - I'm giving him a 4 simply because of the tackle he made which probably stopped them from going 2-0 up! Overall tho? once again awful! this guy just does not cut it for me, his set piece delivery is poor, he can't pass the ball half the time! and most times he's just lumbering about like a guy who just doesn't seem bothered! He isn't a RM and that's really only his saving grace but even then when put in CM he was a non factor! Wellens 3 - Was very disappointed in his performance today! just simply not up for it! He's a good, solid player tho so i have no doubt he will bounce back King 6 - Solid stuff, could have done better with the chance he had! Dyer 6 - Just not much service but when he did get it he looked decent enough! I've been impressed with him lately so he certainly deserves his place in the side right now. Fryatt 6 - Same just not enough service to Fryatt! play it to his feet and he's a pretty tricky customer but no service and he's nowhere to be seen..oh but then sometimes you get the frustrating Fryatt but not today as he rarely got any service! Howard 6 - Tried as he does but was kept in check today by the Ipswich defence. Subs: Kermorgant 3 - Didn't do nothing when he came on, Howard was unlucky to be subbed imo! no wonder he got the ass Gallagher 3 - He's a striker it's clear as daylight! until he gets that chance and takes it then he's gonna have to settle for this and potential fan abuse! which isn't fair either because he's still playing in a poistion that's not his natural poistion! He could end up being a flop here he really could simply due to the fact the striker area is kinda covered! UNLESS Fryatt goes... Waghorn 3 - Out of position just like Gallagher! what do you do with all these players that are forwards? you can't play them on the wings or in midfield, etc because they get found out! NP needs to look at that himself and address it as quick as he can
ozleicester Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 From slightly blurry live stream Weale 4 - Couple of good saves... but lacks command and control. Neilson 4 - Seems slow of foot and brain, Brown 5 - seemd ok, got caught, but was fair Morrison 6 - good reading and pushed the ball about ok. McGivern 5 - see Neilson.. but with added point for effort, he was everywhere and worked hard. Oakley 5- meh. Wellens 5 - meh. King 5 - meh Dyer 6 - great when he's on the ball.. goes missing too much Fryatt 6 - see Dyer Howard 6 - worked hard.. 3 on him all day. subs: Kermorgant no time to impress/depress Gallagher 5 - looks so composed on the ball, better delivery than most Waghorn 4 - didnt seem to get involved Pearson - 4 Too little, too late with the subs, should have taken Fryatt off not Dyer. How is it possible that professional footballers can fail in the delivery of deadball situations so often?
casablancas Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Game, first time in a while. Me an me old pappa Weale 7 (MOM) - Couple of great saves... Little more confidence needed. Neilson 4 - Not bad today !, Brown 3 Looked poor and sluggish to me, not comfortable at all. when he had possession...Hoof !!! Morrison 6.5 Competent McGivern 3 Poor. Always looked to be struggling, outta position and looked to be lacking pace ! Oakley 5- poor.. Needs evaluating. Wellens 6. Most creative King 6 - Did what king does without scoring Dyer 5 goes missing. Fryatt 6 - NOthing like sheff. things on his mind? Howard 5. Lucky not to have got himself in trouble. WWE headlock???
Guest DavidJCW Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Weale 7 - Some excellent saves but occasionally had shakey moments. Neilson 4 - Another useless performance and is still a liability. Brown 6 - Did OK, nothing more, nothing less. Morrison 8 - Was our best player and did very well at the back for us, moving the ball forward well too. McGivern 3 - Awful. Made mistake after mistake. Oakley 5 - Needs to start being more positive and acting like a commanding captain. Wellens 6 - Had some good moments, but overall was fairly average. King 6 - Quiet performance but was fairly solid. Dyer 6 - Had some brilliant runs down the wing but other than that, was nowhere to be seen. Fryatt 6 - Had some decent moments but like most of the team, they were fleeting. Howard 7 - Did a very good job today despite being heavily marked. Subs: Kermorgant - N/A Gallagher 7 - Did well after coming on and seemed up for it. Waghorn 6 - Didn't really get stuck in as with past matches but not bad. Overall: 6/10 - A difficult match against a side unbeaten in 12 and despite the fact we should probably have won, we did well enough.
