Rated highly here in the states. some say he could be the next dempsey. I have seen him play for the ajax orlando prospects a few years back. one of the best florida born soccer players in recent years.

Dax McCarty penned a new deal with FC Dallas, re-signing with the only club the 22-year-old has played with. The sixth overall pick in the 2006 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, McCarty now has four seasons under his belt with Dallas. This past year, he started 27 matches, scoring three goals and notching six assists as he locked down the holding midfield position in the squad. "Dax was a key member of the team this season and a vital part of the successful late-season run we had," said Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman. "Ensuring Dax would be in a FC Dallas uniform next season was a top priority for us." McCarty is currently with the United States national team in Slovakia, preparing for a friendly on Nov. 14. The call-up is a first for the midfielder.

stivesfox Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 I think the author of this opened the MLS website as this guy is the first thing you see and videos of him playing football, and decided that as we have no real transfer activity apart from Martin Taylor and Marcus Bent for Birmingham add some shite to the site, and use the Mandaric USA marketing Strategy by plucking the first yank off the MLS Site.
