Dylan Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner (if fit) Solano (if fit) King Wellens/Oakley Dyer Fryatt Waghorn Subs:: Logan, Brown, Mcgivern, NGuessan, Howard, Gallagher, Oakley
mmarkie Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Nielson Morrison Hobbs Berner Solano King Wellens Dyer Waghorn Fryatt
RowlattsFox Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner (please) Solano King Wellens Dyer Kermogant Fryatt I know Yann has done nothing in the games he's started so far but I want to see him have a go at home, he's started away games where he has had fook all service and the chances are we might attack a bit more being at home. Also with Solano hopefully getting some decent balls into the box, I fancy Yann being in the box more than Howard. If Solano doesn't play then Fryatt and Waghorn upfront, with Oakley on the right.
DanTheFox07 Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Mcgivern, Would prefer berner if available. Dyer king Oakley Solano/ n`guessan dependant on if solano is available Fryatt Howard
Thracian Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Morrison --- Hobbs --- Brown --- Berner (please) Solano --- Wellens --- King --- N'Guessan Howard --- Fryatt -------------------------------------- quote] Imperfect though it is, that's probably our strongest team on paper. Unfortunately current trends can't continue and I'd happily use Dyer and Oakley as full-backs to get them supplementing our midfield, maintaining constant width and ensuring support in numbers when we go forward. Support right now is all but non-existent and our distribution from the back is worse than Leicestershire Senior League level.
Candidcamera Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Solano King Oakley Wellens Gallagher Fryatt Waghorn
suffolk fox Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Whoever we put out, we wont win. That's what I like to see Oh so Positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
suffolk fox Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 One thing I can guarantee unless Oakley is ill or injured he won't be dropped by NFP. I hope he brings back Howard and Fryatt up front and don't tinker too much. We need a tried and trusted line up against the Toon cos it ain't gonna be easy? Worryingly against the top teams this season, WBA, Newcastle, Dare I say it Florest, our record is poor! Leave Waghorn on the bench, bring back Dyer. Just one question anyone got any info at all on Clemence?????? Does he still play for us is he part of our squad???? Last, I heard he was again training with the squad but this can't be true?
WardyisPukka Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Time to play Gallagher upfront or dont play at all , hes ineffective on the wing !! Nguessan and Dyer on both wings , I would go with Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Bruno/Powell Dyer Wellens King/Oakley(dont actually give a shit who plays as their both awful) Nguessan Fryatt Gallagher bring nobby on after 60 mins
Salieri Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner Solano Wellens King N'GuessanGallagherFryatt I want to see Morrison where he is at his best, the centre of defence which unfortunately will mean bringing Neilson back (unless we throw youngster O'Neill in at the deep end). Hopefully Berner is fit to return, if not, Powell providing he can manage another game so soon. I'd love to see Nobby making his debut against the Toon, but failing that, N'Guessan back to right mid and Dyer in on the left. Wellens lucky to retain his place and needs a BIG performance. Oakley needs to be dropped, step up Andy King (hopefully!). Gallagher needs a chance in the centre. We all know he's not a bloody winger and if he fails as a striker (or playing slightly deeper behind Fryatt) then theres no hope for him.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 That's what I like to see Oh so Positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly thats what alot of the foxes fans are like mate
jimmer Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Whoever we put out, we wont win. Would like to see this: Weale Solano--Morrison--Hobbs--BernerN'guessan--King--Oakley--DyerKermo--Fryatt Obviously depends if Berner is passed fit, just feel morrison would do a better job than brown in the center against pace and anyone but neilson on the right.
Ozwin Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Berner can't come back quick enough, what exactly is up with him anyway?
Guest ttfn Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 The more I look at these teams the more I can't believe we haven't signed a right back in this transfer window.
Dylan Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner (if fit) Solano (if fit) King Wellens Dyer Fryatt Waghorn Cant see it happening though-NP leaving Oakley out. The more I look at these teams the more I can't believe we haven't signed a right back in this transfer window. Agree with you.
Cropwellfox Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Am assuming Nobby isn't match fit, and this is what i think NP will select, not what i would... Weale Neilson Hobbs Morrison Powell/Berner Oakley King Wellens Gallagher Fryatt Waghorn subs Solano,Kermorgant,Brown,N'Guessan,McGivern,Logan,Howard
ACF Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I'm thinking, if we get some crosses in from Nobby, it could give Kermit another chance to score?
Wycombe Fox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Weale Solano (started career as a defender and played RB for Newcastle, Villa and Peru) Morrison Hobbs Berner N'Guessan King Wellens Dyer Kermo Fryatt
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner - if fit Solano - if fit Wellens King Howard Fryatt Kermogrant
morris1234 Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 we have to take to them, id rather we go for it and lose 3 or 4-0 than go down 1-0 to some poorly defended set piece, again!! they are struggling with injuries at the back, we have to use pace, dyer and n'guessan on wings for me! waghorn and fryatt up top.
The Doctor Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Why the hell do you think we have had to play Oakley in (narrow) left midfield?Surely some of you can count to 3 and work it out! :dunno: because king, wellens and gallagher are all better than him and pearson had to fit his captain in somewhere. Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Powell Nobby Oakley Wellens Dyer Fryatt Howard About time a debutant for us scores on his debut, cant remember they last time, so come on nobby n'guessan & Waghorn V Swansea back in august. GK: Weale RB: Neilson CB: Hobbs CB: Brown LB: Berner/Powell RM: Solano CM: King CM: Wellens LM: N'Guessan ST: Kermorgant/Howard ST: Fryatt Subs Pentney Morrison Tunchev (Surely he's fit again by now?)/berner/Powell Dyer Gallagher Waghorn Kermorgant/Howard
marbelladave Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 because king, wellens and gallagher are all better than him and pearson had to fit his captain in somewhere. Missing the point, as always.... Oakley plays narrow right (typo in the original) because when we play with 2 wide men we get overwhelmed in central midfield! Happened last season, happened this, pretty much every time. Playing Oakley narrow right is far from perfect but at this time it remains our best option if we continue to play 4-4-2. Not of course suggesting that I would advocate us playing 4-4-2!....
