I think its time we cashed in on Fryatt with reluctance as a club, would seem the ideal solution in the circumstances as it does look like we actually have no money or the manager is so one visioned that he feels the playing squad who got him promoted is the ideal squad to do the job, I personally feel the forward options we have are not delivering the goods with exception of Fryatt. Kermogrant is delivering nor is Howard. Gallagher is a centre forward proven at Championship level though we seem prime to play him on the right wing. Oakley is having some bad performances and the manager persists in picking him, great last season but needs leaving out for his own good. The side is a little imbalanced to say the least and when Holloway was here square pegs in round holes which didnt work, Nigel is now following the Holloway ethic of doing the same. I read an article in August and stated from Milan Mandaric if Leicester City Football club was challenging in the play offs the club would invest in the transfer market to strengthen.

Now 5 days before that window closes no business has been done and we have clear opinions a majority of supporters agree with, that we have weak links and need for some much needed quality. If you had offered me 8th position at the start of the season I would have bit your hand off, but 8th Place in January we surely need to see there could be an opportunity and to bring in a proven goalscorer, a sound left back and maybe a quality midfielder. I am sure when the manager does his end of game match interview he will either say the lads work hard or we were unlucky. For his sake he needs to sit down get on his phone and start finding players, or he could be in trouble. If the club has no money then by selling either Fryatt or King and allowing all the money to be released to bring in a number of new players would be the best option. I personally feel time to sell of some dead wood as well, and possibly returning Mcgiven to Manchester City now as I am sure we must pay them something for him. I would suggest the next 5 days of the market will prove important to the destination of Leicester City, if he continues with his current squad it will simply die of death and drop down the league, and possibly endanger the managers position. The manager now has to be accountable for the loss of form and think about his next actions. Nigel Pearson unfortunatley strikes me as a great coach not manager, wheeler dealer he isnt.

Understand where you are coming from but unless we sell him for 8-10m which isn't going to happen then we have to keep him for the moment.

The squad needs investment but now isn't going to be the time. We had a chance for the play offs but I fear that is fast receding and doubt MM has the necessary money needed to acquire the number of quality players required even if they are available.

I personally think we should invest in the Palace bring and buy sale now that they are in administration. They have a decent quality squad. I think Ambrose has scored as many as Fryatt this season for example.

Sell our most prolific goalscorer for years? I agree that apart from last season, we haven't been exactly been spoiled with goals galore(s), but this is plain silly. He's the fifth-best scorer in the Championship right now. Fryatt's doing exceptionally well for being part of a mediocre team overall.

Move him on. It's the team that's more important. I sometimes feel that Fryatt's performances are at the expense of the rest of the team. Sure, his goals have been welcome but his work off the ball leaves a lot to be desired and he seems incapable of forging a decent partnership with anyone - a sort of working man's Michael Owen. At least Owen tries to make bad balls into good ones.

A lot of City's problems seem to stem from the fact that the ball doesn't stick enough when played forward and it comes back too quickly and too often. And too often Matt avoids the brickbats by fans saying he gets no service or its the fault of "hoofball". That's a far too simplistic an analysis I fear and why Pearson is having to leave him out of the side recently. When the going gets tough, Matt goes missing.

This is an ordinary looking Leicester City and Pearson is in dire need of funds to pump some freshness into it. Mandaric doesn't look like providing this so his most valuable financial asset has to go.
