leicesterfox86 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Just wondering who you all thought could be late runners for the World Cup squad, there is a couple of good shouts on this list but not sure about one of them! Matthew Ethertington?! Adam Johnson is likely to be there I reckon, he'd be my shout.

Alexikokopops Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Gary Cahill? Hardly likely with his latest injury.
Asha Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hardly likely with his latest injury. Ah right, which I didn't know. My bad.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 I'd be pretty surprised if Darren Fletcher, Robert Earnshaw, David Healy and Robbie Keane made it to be fair.
Joe. Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 I'd be delighted if Adam Johnson made it, there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't given our left sided situation in my opinion.
Tommeh Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Michael Dawson? I'd love to see Wilksey at the world cup, great shout.
goose2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Leighton Baines has got to be in with a shout with ashly cole out for so long. What about Roger Johnson from birmingham?
The Stig Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Very weird, I was discussing Etherington at school earlier on as a surprise pick. <_< You dont go Rawlins do you? Go Rawlins! Happy Birthday by the way Anyway, surprise inclusion, Chris Weale
brad1875 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 roger johnson Adam Johnson should defiantly be in with a shout though
brad1875 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 What about Roger Johnson from birmingham? someone with some sense
Hitesh Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 I'm going for Stephen Dawson going by his current form.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 There won't be any. That'll be the surprise in itself. Everybody in the squad, except at least 1 of the keepers, will have at least 15 caps by the time the competition starts.
Sparky Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Only one i can see from the list so far is leighton Baines, especially if Bridge wont play
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 A one Mrs Wayne Bridge (to accompany her lover)
Uncle Albert Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Yeah thinking about I can't see there being a surprise inclusion the only tinkering I would do now is take 7 defenders and take an extra midfielder, 2 right backs, 4 centre halfs and Ashley Cole. Worst comes to worse and Cole gets injured out there then Gareth Barry is more than capable of playing at full back.
