Dylan Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Its a bit early but oh well. 3 points would be priceless with some of the other fixtures today such as: Blackpool v Middlesborough Cardiff v WBA Forest v Sheff Utd Surely Pearson will stick to the same side as saturday, dont think there's any new injury concerns.

This game is just a walk in the park. Expecting a solid 1-0 win

richardsfoxes Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Perfect time to gain some ground with people above us, going to go with a 1-1 draw tho. Dyer scoring.
Donut Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Its a strange situation Bristol are on a miserable run of results right now, and are struggling for goals. Is it a good time to play them, or will in be wounded animal time with the robins coming out fighting and looking to turn the corner? Gary Johnson has been rallying support ahead of the game, but a good start and a clean sheet after half an hour could well see the crowd turn on them. I do tend to worry about the pace they posess in attacking areas, with the likes of Sproule, Haynes and Maynard. I predicted a draw in a previous thread, i think ill stick with it 2-2 im going for
Joe. Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 As already mentioned, tonight's result is massive given the other fixtures in the division. Win-win situation all round for us tonight really, somebody has to drop points around us somewhere. I don't think this will be easy though. They're o na horrible run of form right now but I can just see this being difficult for us. I'm envisaging another Doncaster type game where we'll struggle to break them down. Hopefully I'm wrong...
Thracian Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Couldn't stand the thought of another long trip on a Tuesday night after watching the uncommitted, virtually shotless non-events that were the trips to S****horpe and Barnsley. But for those who have gone I hope it's Saturday's City that turns out and that Pearson impresses on his players that our travelling fans deserve some proper effort and entertainment. Yes, I think we'll win. That I virtually always think we'll win gives some insight into the ability I believe our squad possesses when organised in an effective way and when they are given licence to express themselves. I honestly see no reason why they should be tactically shackled. They are as good or better than almost anyone in this very ordinary league and if they continue to close the opposition down quickly and to get forward in numbers as they did against S****horpe at The Walkers then I see no reason why we shouldn't continue scoring fairly freely.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Really good or really shit. I'm gonna say the former. 2-0 win
sdb Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Just hope we don't underestimate them cause they are decent and will give it a right go tonight i reckon. An early goal or just keeping a clean sheet for 30 odd mins (as has been said) could be vital.
Salieri Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Despite their poor form, i'm not overly confident about this one. Draw i reckon.
the buckwheat Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Weale Morrison, Brown, Hobbs, Berner Dyer, Oakley, Wellens, King Gallagher, Waghorn Subs : McGivern, Solano, Howard, Logan, Adams, N'Guessan, Kermorgant Bristol City : Gerken; Orr, Nyatanga, Carey, Fontaine; Elliott, Johnson, Skuse; Haynes, Iwelumo, Clarkson. Subs : Maynard, Hartley, Collis, Williams, Sproule, Wilson, Agyemang.
sdb Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Come on Leicester!!!!!!!!! Gut instinct's bad right now but we can win if we give it a right good go!!
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 I'd really like to see Adams get some time on the pitch. He looked really sharp early season and he's not disappointed when I've seen him. In my opinion there's potential in there waiting to get out. Like the team - glad NP's stuck with the same team. Pretty strong looking bench too and I fancy Kermo to break his duck. Come on City!!!!!

Craig Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Johnson's playing Iwelumo upfront instead of Maynard? That's one less pacey player to worry about
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Johnson's playing Iwelumo upfront instead of Maynard? That's one less pacey player to worry about Easier for hobbs and brown to deal with than Maynard. Is Clarkson playing?

Onions Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Bristol City scored once in the last 6 games. So we should be able to keep them out. I guessed 3-1. Would love either Adams or Kermorgant scored, or both would be amazing.
