MPH Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 No offence mate but it's the first thing that comes up when you bash Ian Stringer Twitter into google. Are you still using AskJeeves or something?! a well restrained and cordial reply. Fair play to you, Sir!
Tilley Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Why would you want to follow Stringer? Hardly a reliable source for information.
Tony Pine Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 I like following Stringer, interesting chap. on twitter? or in real life.
Monk Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 I stalk him down the street, if that's what you were wondering.
dandannieldanok Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Ian Stringer on BBC East Midlands today: "Play-offs a certainty"
h1210 Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Ian Stringer on BBC East Midlands today: "Play-offs a certainty" He really is a cretin of the highest order, it pains me to listen to him on RL.
Lets Be having You Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 He really is a cretin of the highest order, it pains me to listen to him on RL. Funny He says the same about you

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 I like the man. Always tries to be impartial even though he is a big City Fan. Having said that he sounded pissed on Tuesday. He really did say pointless shite and sang some bizarre random songs.
Corky Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Ian Stringer on BBC East Midlands today: "Play-offs a certainty" Do you reckon he's maddog?
dandannieldanok Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Do you reckon he's maddog? Haha you never know, they're both equally over-excitable and ridiculous at times.
orangecity23 Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 I like Stringer, he's a bit of a loon, but it's nice to listen to someone with some passion for the club, and with a sense of humour. He's billions of times better than the goober he replaced (Barber ). Sinclair's turned into a grumpy old moo these days, Stringer's the best commentator we've had for a long time, so I think a lot of the stick he gets is abit unfair. At least he tries.

At least he tries. agree completely. he gets excited... and good for him... i would much rather someone get excited and say some amusing things that someone sit there with a traditional BBC voice and not care about the club.. some people are just too picky... no one will ever be good enough for them...
Koke Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 I think he's alright. He sometimes gets overly excited, but he's a City fan so he can't help himself. Sometimes when we score last minute goals he goes absolute bananas and he nearly cums in his pants. Just recently, his commentary for Lloyd Dyer's goal at Blackpool was great. I'm sure he wet himself in excitement in the commentary box.
