Forest fans just can't seem to get over the fact that we were such a force during World War 2, City were just unplayable in '41 and '42. The thing is you will never hear a Leicester fan brag of our wartime achievements, we did it purely to boost morale back home. Whereas the people of Nottingham secretly funded the Nazi party, I can't be sure of the source for this quote but it's definately in a very reputable text book.

Im from the south and I do find a lot of people in Leicester sound southern with a twinge of midlands, but nothing wrong with that.

I'm right in the South, and Leicester people now sound more Northern to me than ever.

Leicester City are second behind Manchester City for having won the most title of the English Second Tier. Only Birmingham City have been promoted and relegated between the top two divisions of English football more times than Leicester.

you must be so proud

Wow Notts Forest really are one sh.it hot huge club.

Just a complete tragedy that the vast majority who give it out were nothing more than a sperm cell when the honours flowed.

Shouldn't you be on a Derby forum somewhere, caring about your big rivalry?

Everyone knows Forest don't care about us, that's why they sold more tickets for our game than they did for the Derby game. It seems both Forest and Derby are so bothered about telling us they don't like us that they're starting to fall in love with each other

We had a larger segregation area for the sheep game so they couldn't have all of the lower bridgford like we gave your good selves.

Att: vs You lot 28,626

Edit: as for the missing 2k seats, I've no idea why we're listed as having a 30k capacity when it sells out at around 28. I'm going to guess at either the listing's wrong or it'll be something to do with health and safety as most things seem to be these days.

Hobbs is big pals with our Paul Anderson so I'd imagine he took some stick after the last game and really would like to dish some of it back :D

We had Anderson in the paper the other week opening a footy pitch in Melton...what is the world coming too.

I find it funny when lads who clearly weren't even alive through the Cloughy era harp on about Forest being famous or having some marvellous history.

The only reason Clough is regarded as a brilliant manager is that he took some tinpot, shitbag, second division team to Europe and won. Impressive, don't get me wrong, the man was a genius.

But harping on that you're some massive, famous club as a result actually, ironically, diminishes his achievement.

Beautiful Finnegan. The fact Clough is heralded so higher is because he took a provincial club that far and in football matters, it actually ended up a bit bob really....

Right then you've got about three trophies on there worth of shouting about. Super Cup/Intercontinental Cup...no one gives two flyers, never as. Second Division, oh yes big boys, Third Division....just proves you've spent much more time down in the depths of the third tier than we did and a Full Members Cup which is basically the Paint Pot in drag.

Im from the south and I do find a lot of people in Leicester sound southern with a twinge of midlands, but nothing wrong with that.

Agreed.

Your a mug.

Why bother coming on a Leicester forum, and boasting how your a famous team. You seem to think that was in the past, what have you won in the last 10 years. By your listing, fook all. Everyone knows back in the day you were famous, but who are you? A so called famous team get beaten by Doncaster? Clough got your fame, when he had alot of money to spend on your players. We've happened to win the Carling cup numerous times, so fook you. At your ground, me and the bloke next to us sung the Brian Clough song, some may call us pricks for doing it, but we didnt care. You need a reality check mate. Learn to use proper grammer and punctuation too.

Can't we somehow hide this post?

There was the loss to Woking too....and the game where Chelsea humilated them on national telly. All in recent years.

Yes and away from home. Sold out City Ground hushed by Aaron Davies in the second leg.
