The Blur Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 ... permanently.Let's hope Sunderland stay up http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/sunde...72703-25961421/ Would be a awesome signing but I doubt if we can afford him Think Sunderland will get their act together and stay up anyway
hackneyfox Posted 4 March 2010 Author Posted 4 March 2010 £1m Many on here expect Fryatt to be sold for millions.
Craig Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Many on here expect Fryatt to be sold for millions. Exactly.
Sir Fynwy Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Do you think SB will do us a deal if we lock Alex in the basement?
Ozwin Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 It's all down to Waghorn really, the moment he says he wants to go, Sunderland don't really have an option. We need to get a sign him up chant going or something, make him feel wanted.
hackneyfox Posted 4 March 2010 Author Posted 4 March 2010 Exactly. Well if Fryatt is worth 2-3 million then Waghorn is worth 1
Shrenchel Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 It's all down to Waghorn really, the moment he says he wants to go Sunderland don't really have an option. We need to get a sign him up chant going or something, make him feel wanted. Been done a few times away. Not many cvnts were interested.
Guest Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Many on here expect Fryatt to be sold for millions. A striker that can score 12 + goals in the championship is certainly worth a few mil so I don't really get your point. As for £1mil for Waggy that'd be a sweet price, can't see him going for that but circumstances at Sunderland and a slightly improved offer above that may get him. Time will tell
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Prepare the papers, dope Waggy - well, actually, there's no need for that as he is clearly enjoying his time here - have Sunderland stay up and we're in business. Regardless of the price tag, the lad has potential and more - and he's only 20 yet.
MPH Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 ... permanently.Let's hope Sunderland stay up http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/sunde...72703-25961421/ Waghorn would be valued at around the £1million mark if he was allowed to leave, but much will depend on Sunderland’s plans for the summer. Oh my goodness me. Sell Fryatt and use the money for Waghorn. Seriously.
Joe. Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Oh my goodness me. Sell Fryatt and use the money for Waghorn. Seriously. Why would we need to do that?
Craig Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Well if Fryatt is worth 2-3 million then Waghorn is worth 1 I meant Waghorn £1m is a snip! Never mind.
MPH Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Why would we need to do that? well firstly we dont NEED to do anything.. BUT I dont think Fryatt has actually scored since the first week in January and because Waghorn has pace, strength, we would make a profit, use the rest of the money to strengthen elsewhere, probably save on wages. Lots of reasons. why would we not?
SMX11 Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 well firstly we dont NEED to do anything.. BUT I dont think Fryatt has actually scored since the first week in January and because Waghorn has pace, strength, we would make a profit, use the rest of the money to strengthen elsewhere, probably save on wages. Lots of reasons. why would we not? How about keep both and sell Howard & DJ.
MPH Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 How about keep both and sell Howard & DJ. Would love that to be the first option, of course and it would certainly solve the wages issue but i dont know ho much cash it would actually generate... I guess all NP would have to do is go to MM's office and slide the little bar that chairman have between wage budget and transfer budget and everything will be ok .
Jay Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 Do you think SB will do us a deal if we lock Alex in the basement? it seems we have already done that haven't we?
